It was raining out, but Bel was craving a cigarette, so he slipped outside and ducked under the eaves of the cabin, then conjured a fireball to light up. He glanced over at the sign on the door and wondered who had renamed the cabin. Had to be wishful thinking, because he sure as hell had never dressed as a girl, and never would. The manly part, he could live with that.

Anders had a raincoat on when he approached the Cabin Full Of Etc. Etc. Etc., and a quizzical expression on his face when he read the sign. "How did I not notice that before?" he asked. "And can I get a smoke off you? I'm out, and not in the mood to walk into town."

"I think it's new," Bel said, handing over his pack of cigarettes to Anders. Then, keeping a perfectly straight face, he added, "You'll have to dress up like a girl to come inside."

Anders snorted and tapped a cigarette from the pack, lighting it up with his much-less-flashy-than-fireballs, but-still-shiny Zippo. "I already did a fashion show for you once. Isn't that enough?"

"True," Bel mused. "Still got that dress?"

Without missing a beat, Anders replied, "If you think I'm trying to wriggle into that thing with these stitches, think again. Besides, I gave it to Seely."

Bel so didn't want to imagine Seely in a dress. Because that would mean imagining Angel in the dress. And that was just wrong. "How are you feeling?" he asked, quickly changing the subject.

"I really want a real shower," Anders said with a sigh. "But I'm okay . . . mostly . . . could you check my back later? I sorta got knocked into the dirt earlier. Don't know if anything busted, but just to make sure?"

"Knocked in the dirt?" Bel repeated, frowning. "How'd that happen?"

"Chris," Anders said tersely. "Blames you and me for Phoebe getting hurt."

Just why a frog would be wearing a raincoat and hat is anyone's guess. But here came Robin, singing in the rain, wearing a weetiny slicker and hat.

Bel eyed the frog. He was still pretty much WTF frog.

Robin splashed in a puddle and giggled. Then he noticed the two boys and immediately tried to act less like a little kid.

"Hi!" he waved.

"Hey," Bel said, blowing a cloud of smoke out into the rain.

Robin had seen people smoke before, though he'd never tried it before. "Why do you smoke?" he asked curiously.

"Because I like it," Bel replied.

Well that made sense. "Doesn't it make you cough?" There was no judgement in his tone, merely inquiry.

"Sometimes," Bel shrugged. "If I inhale wrong or something."

Robin thought for a moment. "Could I try?"

Anders boggled for a moment.

". . . okay, I know my painkillers can't be that strong."

"Hi, I guess we haven't met yet." Robin hopped up on the porch railing for easier vantage, and held out a flipper. "I'm Robin, one of the Mighty Minotaurs."

"Name's Anders. But minotaurs are . . ." Anders shook himself, then took the proffered flipper and shook it sort of gingerly, for fear of knocking the frog over or something. "That a sports team?"

"It's my cabin." Robin giggled. "Pleased to meet you Anders. How long have you been going here?"

"Oh, duh. Sounds like a sports team to me. All of 'em sound like sports teams, except the ones I can't pronounce." Anders grinned sheepishly. "This'll be my third year here, this fall."

"Wow you must've seen it all then." Robin said. He thought about what Anders had said. "Yeah I guess some of them do sound like that."

"Seen a bit, I guess," Anders replied. "Tend to miss out on a lot of stuff, though, so I can't say I've seen it all, but . . . stick it out here long enough, yeah, you'll have stories to tell at the bar for years."

He chuckled. "Y'know. If they believe you."
