The Pool, Thursday late afternoon

Making a handwavey trip to the gym this morning was something he needed, and it had been an awesome work out session. Even better was going to the pool, cooling off and getting in several good laps like he was doing now. Too bad he didn't have anyone to compete against cause that would have made his whole Fandom pool experience great. 

Johnny kept eyeing the diving board, he might have to try it out after a few more laps.

It had been a while since Teddy went swimming. That pool party a while back to be exact.

And there was shirtless Johnny. Did he ever wear clothing? Teddy waved a touch awkwardly and toed the water.

Johnny caught sight of Teddy and returned his wave, grinning, "Come on in, it feels great!"

And it was why he was there...

Teddy took off his shorts and dove in. Well, not so much dove as belly flopped in. An athlete he was not.

"Gah!" Healing be damned, that hurt.

Johnny laughed, not at Teddy per se, but at the belly flop. He knew that had to hurt.

"Dude!" he yelled once Teddy surfaced. "That had to hurt!"

Teddy nodded and rubbed his stomach. "Diving might not be my strong suit," He admitted sheepishly.

"Maybe not, but it was sure fun to watch," Johnny joked. "How are you at laps?" There might have been a challenge issued there in his tone, however unspoken.

"I'm not really sure," Teddy replied. "Never did much in the way of sports and avoided gym class like the plague at my old school."

He quirked a brow in amusement, "You came just to get wet then? Basically?"

Dirty? Nooooo!

"I can doggie paddle and..." He flailed. "Other stuff!"

Johnny laughed, "Hey, doggie paddling is great!" Then he thought about that. "Teddy, you can swim right?"

"Yes!" He paused. "Well, not like you were, but I can tread water like nobody's business." He waved his hands in a vague water tready way.

"And that's all you need to know to save your life," he grinned at Teddy but now also felt the need to watch over him in the water, just in case. Hey, can never be too careful in the pool.

Seeing as she was a little wet all ready from the sneak attack (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1761273.html?thread=81245945#t81245945) in the park, Tori decided she should make a visit to the pool.

Clad in her suit (http://www.gwc.org.uk/Parents/Uniform/large_pics/navy_speedo.jpg), Tori waved when she saw the other occupant. "Hey Johnny." Putting her towel down, Tori dove into the pool intent on getting some exercise, even if she'd sparred just yesterday.

"Hey, there, Tori!" Johnny called out when he saw her. He continued his laps, managing to come abreast of her.

Tori smiled, treading water for a moment, readying herself to get in some laps. "How's it going?"

"Pretty good, I guess. How've you been?" he asked, treading water also.

"You guess? I've been great, thanks." Tori smiled warmly. "I officially have a boyfriend now." She beamed.

"Yeah," he grinned, "I don't have a date till tomorrow night so I've been on the lonely side," he teased. "And get out, what happened to me asking you out again?"

"Oh, and here I thought the girls would be lining up at the door." Tori joked, no malicious intent intended by that. "Oh? You want to get out? Okay." She smirked, making a move for the wall's edge. "Um, I don't know?" Tori blushed, smiling sheepishly. "He and I, well, it kind of just happened." But she was happy about it, if Johnny couldn't tell.

"Well, you know," he managed to blush slightly at that. Something he never does, usually. And yeah, it was definitely evident that Tori was happy about the whole boyfriend situation. "Luke, right?"

Tori noticed the slight blush and realized she'd never seen him do that before. She smiled and nodded. "Luke, yeah."

"I've noticed coming to Fandom, which I guess can be said for all high schools, is that there are couples everywhere I turn around. Does anyone stay single for long around here?" Not that he was worried about that, really. Johnny didn't think he was into the whole relationship thing. Yet.

"It certainly seems like it, doesn't it?" Tori chuckled. "I managed to for a whole semester. I guess it all depends on who you're looking at." She winked. "A rough estimate? No, not really."

Johnny laughed, "A whole semester? Wow, I bet Luke was doubly impressed when he finally snagged you, huh?" He couldn't help but tease her, really.
