Third floor common room, Monday night

Jaina was on the bored side. Even Jaina realized that Jaina on the bored side was not necessarily a good thing. This was why she was in the common room, vigorously flipping channels and occasionally muttering things like "...There's a channel for cooking?"

She obviously didn't spend a lot of time watching stuff like this back home.

Tori was going with the notion that Jaina was kidding here. "I'm very sure." She nodded.

"Let's try it," she said. "Pick something good."

"You got it." Tori nodded. "Be right back." She jogged down to her room.

And came back a couple moments later with a few moddable DVDs, having to do with surfing and martial arts. Separate, of course. "How about one of these?"

"Um, that one," she said, pointing at one of the martial arts ones. "I think I can follow the plot better."

"Sounds good to me." Tori smiled and popped the DVD into the player. The menu popped up and she used the DVD remote to hit play.

Hey look! A samurai and a ninja! Fighting one another. What a concept.

"Simple," Jaina said after a moment. "I have no question about what's happening."

Tori nodded, "Yep. That's what I like about it. It's easy to follow and it's got great action sequences."
