Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

Ronan was a little bored. When Ronan is bored, as we are coming to learn, he cooks. So here he is, cooking. Tonight, it's breakfast foods! Already he's got eggs and bacon on the go, and in another pan he's frying up slices of tomato. There's toast, too, and in yet another pan, he's got diced potatoes.

As always, there's lots of food, and anyone is welcome to stop by and feed. Also, because he was amused by it, he had The Fast-Breaking Society playing. It was... tangentially appropriate.

Adam was feeling a bit restless, worried about Charlie and found himself a floor above his. Wanting to see if anything was up, he wandered into the common room. "Hey."

"Hey, Adam!" Ronan said. "Grab a plate, there's plenty of everything." He's already shoveling stuff out of the pans to make room for more.

"Thanks, Ronan!" Adam grinned brightly. "You sure are cooking up a storm here." Not that he was complaining or anything.

Ronan nodded. "Yeah, I just... enjoy cooking." He grinned. "I'd say taht I should learn to cook smaller quantities, but I think the rest of the student body would kill me."

"That's great," Adam nodded, smiling. "Yeah, they just might too." Which was pretty scary when he thought about it. "Just to let you know, I wouldn't be one of them."

"Well, I don't know that they'd actually kill me," Ronan said, laughing. "But they might try some creative ways to get me to cook for them again."

Johnny did not head up to the fifth floor because there was food cooking on the air. He actually was coming up to find and talk to Ronan. But smelling the food, he stopped off in the common room first and there Ronan was, cooking away.

"Hey..."

"Hey, Johnny!" Ronan was... probably a little more cheery than anyone had a right to be, but, hey, cooking. "Want some food?"

"Nah, I'm still stuffed from the beach. But you, uh, look like you're having fun." He smiled a little, walking into the kitchen.

Ronan nodded. "It's the cooking." He grinned a little wider. "I just..." He fiddled with the potatoes, flipped the pan to toss them up in the air and caught them all. "I love cooking."

He chuckled wryly and propped himself up on the counter, "I can tell. And..." he indicated all the food. "You must be hungry."

"Nah," Ronan replied. "I'm just incapable of cooking for one. So I feed the dorms." He grinned. "It's kinda fun, actually. It's a good way to make friends."

"Not much, you?" Adam answered while the mun kicked LJ for being mean, argh! "I can't believe the first session's just about over."

Naomi had finally decided to leave her room and find a common room to hang out in for a while, "hey," she said.

"Hi," Ronan said, smiling at the new arrival. "Feel free to grab a plate, if you'd like."

Naomi nodded, "thanks," she said as she picked up a plate.

Ronan paused. "I'm... not sure we've met yet? I'm Ronan."

"I don't think we've met," Naomi replied, "I'm Naomi,"

Phoebe wasn't feeling well and it made Anders kind of restless and fretty, so rather than pace in the suite and drive everyone nuts, he'd come down the hall to the common room to do his pacing.

Ahd oooh, bonus -- food.

"Hey, Ronan," he said distractedly.

"Anders! Hey. Grab food." Ronan practically shoved a plate at Anders. "I think I may have gone overboard this time. I mean, even for me. Please eat."

"Breakfast for dinner." Anders smiled feebly and grabbed a plate, loading up on everything. "I'm always up for that. So how was the field trip?"

"We made fireworks! And I exploded more cupcakes. Glittery ones." He may possibly have blushed a little. "And. Uh."

Anders had to laugh, knowingly, at that. "Got the glitter benefits, did you?"
