Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

Ronan was a little bored. When Ronan is bored, as we are coming to learn, he cooks. So here he is, cooking. Tonight, it's breakfast foods! Already he's got eggs and bacon on the go, and in another pan he's frying up slices of tomato. There's toast, too, and in yet another pan, he's got diced potatoes.

As always, there's lots of food, and anyone is welcome to stop by and feed. Also, because he was amused by it, he had The Fast-Breaking Society playing. It was... tangentially appropriate.

"Nah, I'm still stuffed from the beach. But you, uh, look like you're having fun." He smiled a little, walking into the kitchen.

Ronan nodded. "It's the cooking." He grinned a little wider. "I just..." He fiddled with the potatoes, flipped the pan to toss them up in the air and caught them all. "I love cooking."

He chuckled wryly and propped himself up on the counter, "I can tell. And..." he indicated all the food. "You must be hungry."

"Nah," Ronan replied. "I'm just incapable of cooking for one. So I feed the dorms." He grinned. "It's kinda fun, actually. It's a good way to make friends."

"I can imagine. I bet a hoard of hungry teenagers will be swamping you at any given moment," Johnny said, arching a brow, staring at Ronan and not what he is doing.

Ronan just grinned at Johnny. "I can't wait," he said. "Maybe one of the will be some hot guy I haven't met yet."

"Maybe," Johnny said, looking away. "I guess I better go then, don't want to ruin any chances you might have for hooking up."

Ronan quirked his eye. "Oh? And what makes you think you'd have any effect on that particular issue?"

Johnny shook his head and grinned, looking possibly a tad shy, "I don't know, Ronan." Maaan! Why did he feel so unsure of himself lately?

Ronan's smile softened a little. "Well, stick around and we'll see, eh?"

"I might just do that," he said and hopped down from the counter, moving to the fridge where he got himself a bottled water.

"So, you said you were at the beach?" Ronan said.

"Yeah. A barbeque. It was pretty great," despite what happened with Charlie and for which Johnny was really very worried about her. "Should have come out there. Lots of people."

"I don't think I heard about it," Ronan replied. "Kinda wish I had, that would've been fun."

"I think it was mentioned on the radio? Not too sure about that, but Charlie had invited me so it's why I went."

Ronan shrugged. "I don't always catch the radio. Maybe I should listen more." He grinned. "Although I appear to have been lucky, with certain of my escapades... escaping notice."
