First Floor Lobby, evening

After visiting the big picnic, and picking out most of the new people by sight, Evie retired back to the dorms and settled into the lobby couch to people-watch. With a book. Or possibly, five.

"It is," Evie said, looking up from her book, and smiling. "Hullo. It's sooner than usual, though. The last ones just arrived six weeks ago."

"Hi. That's kinda cool, though." Demyx grinned sheepishly. "Met anybody that we should point in Deadpool's direction if he teaches another Driver's Ed class?"

"Hmmmm. Not really. I didn't speak to too many at the picnic-- mostly 'pass the ketchup' and the like." She looked thoughtful. "Do we want them to appreciate him the way we do?"

She really likes Professor Deadpool. But she can also find him terribly annoying. And difficult to annoy.

Demyx liked Deadpool, but it was so fun to make people spaz! "Picnics are good. Free food and all that." Demyx paused, tapping his chin. "Professor Deadpool is a special case, though. He needs students who can keep him on his toes, you know?"

"Yes. Like all his minions do." Evie likes Rikku and Setsuna just for how often they've made Professor Deadpool have to avoid getting hit. "Hmmm. I shall have to keep a lookout, I think. Did you see anyone who looked like they might benefit from his tutelage?"

"No, not yet. But I still have to meet more people." Demyx shrugged. "That, and I think it might be too late now. Or are classes still open?"

"Do you know, I'm not sure?" Evie looked thoughtful. "I always sign up *immediately*, and hope that the classes don't fill up. Pie and Patriotism and Explosions, this time. I do like that Professor Aly. I believe she threw the engagement party for Professor Deadpool." She beamed at that memory.

"Yeah, I sign up immediately too. But..." Demyx paused, scuffing his foot a little. "It's mostly because I'll probably forget if I don't do it right away."

"But that just makes you very efficient," Evie assured him. "As I recall from your performance at Bumper Cars."

"In a way. Maybe. You could be right." Demyx paused a moment. "I like your way of putting it!" he said, grinning broadly.

"But man, bumper cars was fun. I wish I could take that class again."

"It was fun, wasn't it?" Evie said wistfully. "Perhaps they'll have another carnival with that ride present. I don't think they'll have bumper cars in Pie class. Although, I understand the trip to the forest for explosions and mercenary class was very entertaining."

"Deadpool's teaching a pie class?" Demyx asked incredulously.

"Oh good lord, no." Evie blinked, then considered. "Although that would be entertaining as anything, wouldn't it?"

"Yes. I think I'd have to take that." Demyx flailed a little.
