First Floor Lobby, evening

After visiting the big picnic, and picking out most of the new people by sight, Evie retired back to the dorms and settled into the lobby couch to people-watch. With a book. Or possibly, five.

Demyx frowned at him. "Why don't you answer? Are you neither, or something? Because that's just weird."

Haku chuckled again and decided to put Demyx out of his misery. He didn't really want to make him angry over it. "I'm sorry, I'm a boy."

"Oh, okay." Demyx grinned. "I thought so. You aren't freaky enough to be a girl."

"Freaky enough?" He had to ask.

"Yeah! Girls are scary, man," Demyx said vehemently.

Evie tossed a paperback at his head without looking up from History of the Roman Empire.

Demyx flailed. "What?? Not you, Evie! You aren't...I mean, you're..." He flailed harder. "Throwing things at me just proves my point!"

Haku laughed, holding his sides. "Maybe they're scary to you because you say things like that?"

"But...I...no!" Demyx was still flailing. "I swear I'm a good guy! They have no reason to hit me with things!"

"You might be, but most girls don't like being called scary," Haku pointed out.

"Yeah, but they are." Demyx shifted uncomfortably. "You've never met Larxene. Obviously. She'll scar you for life. And I mean that literally! I've got some wicked electrical burn scares."
