After visiting the big picnic, and picking out most of the new people by sight, Evie retired back to the dorms and settled into the lobby couch to people-watch. With a book. Or possibly, five.

It's amazing how much difference one simple letter can make, isn't it? Is your name spelled with an X? I've never met many people whose names were spelled with an X, but I think the letter X makes a name ever so mysterious and romantic."
