First Floor Lobby, evening

After visiting the big picnic, and picking out most of the new people by sight, Evie retired back to the dorms and settled into the lobby couch to people-watch. With a book. Or possibly, five.

Demyx laughed nervously and raised his hands in the air in the universal gesture of surrender. "Okay, maybe that wasn't such a great idea..."

And a very natural instinct rose up in A.J., moving toward Demyx and pushing him back by the shoulders, despite that he had relinquished and despite the fact that A.J. was no one to ever pick a fight. Ever. Especially when Haku had it perfectly under control, unbeknowest to him. "Hey! What the fuck, man?"

Demyx flailed. "What!? He's a dude, dude! He can protect himself fine! Or are you not seeing the needles of stabby pain??"

Haku smacked himself on the forehead. "And you wonder why people want to throw things at you?"

"He's a...." A.J. blinked, looking over at Haku briefly, flustered for a moment and then shouted, "That doesn't matter! You don't just grab someone and do that!"

"No?" Demyx asked, looking between the two of them. Then he shrugged. "Okay. You people are really touchy." He scratched the side of his nose, frowning slightly. "You should really lighten up."

Haku frowned deeply. "Says the one who stole my first kiss!" He threw a needle at Demyx's foot, just to keep from sticking it into his neck before stalking off to his room.

"It's called personal space, man," A.J. was in the middle of countering before he saw Haku put a needle through Demyx's foot. "Okay, that was probably uncalled for too...Wow."

Demyx yelped, jumping backward and nearly tripping over his own feet. "How was I supposed to know!?" he shouted after Haku. "Man! I always screw things up." He pulled the needle out of his foot, frowning at it and tossing it aside.

"Anyway, enjoy the school, okay?" Demyx quickly opened a Portal of Darkness next to himself, stepping through it and vanishing.

A.J.,holding his head, started moving toward the stairs. "Okay, I did not just see a guy get stabbed in the foot and then disappear...They just have really good booze at that place. They...they've got to, with this school....Yikes."
