Musical Rehearsal, The Gym; Tuesday, 7pm (ish)

While A.J. seemed to be busy crawling on the floor of the gym with a tape measure, Troy was bouncing excitedly as he waited for the cast and crew to come in. First rehearsal! A.J. was starting to wish he'd brought a tarp, because Troy looked about ready to explode with excitement and, well, quite frankly, A.J. didn't want to clean up the mess.

"Okay, guys," Troy said, "we're going to break up into two group; actor-types, you're going with me and we'll warm up and go over scripts. Tech-types, you're stuck with A.J."

A.J. let the tape measure snap shut dramatically and let out an evil chuckle. "Mwa ha ha. By the way, Aly is our awesome adviser, and without her, we wouldn't be able to do this, so I suggest we bombard her with gratitude, pie, and muffins. Great, big muffins." Not dirty. Mostly.

"Okay, lots of work to do! Let's get going!"

[[ Up early, due to me having work later and Troy being abducted until the evening. Troy, by the way, was tooootally modded with permission. Please to be waiting for the OCD! It be up! ]]

Neil chuckled at some of the questions, but he'd done something like this back home for the other play he'd been in.

When his turn came, he stood up with a bounce.

"Hello! I'm Neil Perry and I'm going to be your Narrator for this show. I'm from Vermont, 1950s and I've done one other play. My favorite color is purple and my favorite food is bacon and pancakes, because those I can cook for myself."

"I'm Annette and I'm from Kansas City, Kansas originally. I've not really had experience other than doing a few school plays, so I'm sorry for that but I will try and play my maid part to the utmost of my ability. My favorite color is blue but I do like pink. Um. I like Chinese. Thank you."

"Hello, everyone!" Andrew gave the group a little wave.

"I'm Andrew Wells. I'm from Sunnydale, California. I, um, I was in the drama department in my high school, but I mostly did stuff backstage -- painting props, moving stuff, helping with costumes. I'm pretty excited about being Draco. My favorite color is orange. And my favorite food... anything Mexican. Oh, and funnel cake!"

Tori couldn't help but smile, amused by the questions.

"Hey everyone. I'm Tori Hanson, and I'll be playing Maria. I'm from Blue Bay Harbor, California. Let's see, I haven't really had any experience in the play department but I've been in a couple talent shows, if that helps? My favorite color is blue," hence her clothing, "and my favorite food? That would have to be Italian."

"Hi! I'm Bart!" There might have been a wee bounce in order to see everyone in the room in order to wave at them. Being short sucked. "HI ANDREW!"

"I'm from Central City, the 30th century, none but it looks like fun and I want to play with the power tools, are we allowed to do that if we're not on the crew?" He paused. For half a second to think about his favorite color. "Red and I like coffee. But not the iced stuff because that gives me a headache."

"Hey, I'm Charlie. I'm from smalltown upstate New York, 2007. And I've got only a little experience with theatre stuff, I helped move sets and paint them during our last two school plays back home. I just want to help out, be part of this, without having to embarrass myself onstage." She gave a little wave, then said, "Oh! Favorite color, red. And favorite food, um... spaghetti, I guess."

"Hi!" Robin bounced and felt Bart's pain waved. "I'm Robin, I'm originally from the Florida Everglades, but I spend a lot of time in Los Angeles. And I'm from 1986. I've been around the theater world for most of my life, backstage watching mostly, though I did get to perform a few times on my uncle's variety show, and I played the Frog Prince when I was five." Ah, memories. "Oh, and my favorite color is blue, and favorite food, uhm, well if I had to pick a favorite, it'd be chocolate covered grasshoppers. Though mom says deserts don't count."

"I'm Naomi Wildman," Naomi said, "I'm from San Francisco, California and it's 2381 where I'm from. I don't really have any proper theatre experience. My favourite colour's blue and I don't have a particular favourite type of food,"

"Hey, I'm Adam Park and I'm from Angel Grove, California. It's 1995 where I'm from," he admitted, with a smile. "I've been involved in a few small things at my old highschool, helping build and paint sets as well as coordinating choreography for fight scenes."

What else? "My favorite color? It's a toss up between black and green. As for food? I love pretty much everything, but if I had to pick an absolute favorite? It would have to be Korean."

"Any good excuse for a smoke machine?" Charlie offered, grinning a little. "Or any effects that can pop out of the audience? Trap doors, swinging from lines..."

If Charlie knew about the first Christmas Pageant, she might not be so hopeful about swinging lines.

Adam couldn't help but smile as he listened to what A.J. had to say. "Honestly, I'm good for working on anything," he admitted. "I'm free during the week to put in some extra time, if you need me to."

Attempting to be just as amazing and wonderful as AJ said, Aly was here and interested in what was going on.

Apropos of absolutely nothing, Johnny Whitworth is going to be in a movie called Pathology with Milo Ventimiglia and Alyssa Milano, and I find this indescribably hilarious.
