Fourth Floor Common Room [evening]

Aravis was bored, but didn't want to be in her room when curfew hit if she could help it. So that was why a girl and her dog were sitting on the couch, watching the only thing that had caught her attention:

Telemundo.

She had no idea why the women who spoke in another language kept screaming, or why the men wouldn't stop crying.

Mel rolled her eyes and brought her hand close to Jaina. "Watch out. We might break a rule."

Jaina put her hand out and asked, "If we touch fingers, does that count as a public display of affection? What counts as one of those, anyway? I don't think she has a normal viewpoint."

"Nah. That just counts as braking the eight inch rule," Mel replied. "We'd probably have to make out or something for the PDA rule and I'm not giving my teacher for the awesome class any fuel to the rumor I'm a lesbian."

"Yeah, I'd rather my family members not get that rumor about me either," Jaina said. "You're in that class? With the idiot teacher?"
