The Kiss-In -- Friday After Workshops, The Gym

Luckily, the Gym had been set up last night before the unfortunate changing into an animal incident.

There was a sign-in sheet and a table full of refreshments. There were also a lot of blankets spread out on the practice mats on the floor for more comfortable seating arrangements. There were signs all over the gym that said:

WELCOME TO THE FANDOM HIGH KISS-IN!!!!

There was another sign by the table that listed the rules:

1) Kiss anyone you like for as long as you like.
2) Not comfortable with kissing? Huggings are just fine.
3) Shirts are optional.
4) If you find yourself getting carried away, please take it somewhere private. We're protesting, but not everyone is not public orgies.
5) Have fun breaking the no PDA and 8 inches apart rules!

As of yet, Savannah was not there, but everything else looked to be in order.

There was no reason to wait for her to be there to start your protesting.

"Trying not to think about it too much yet." Suddenly his shoes were fascinating. "Long as I don't, yeah, I'm doing okay."

Johnny looked around. "Aren't we supposed to be kissing or hugging or something?"

"Thanks, man. Um." Anders rubbed at the back of his neck. "Yeah, that is sort of the point of being here, isn't it?"

Of course, there was the whole possessive demon boyfriend issue . . .

"That was my take on it." 'Course, it'd look pretty funny if Johnny stood around trying to kiss a panther cub. Not that he'd even try. Come on!

Yeah, Anders wasn't sure he wanted that mental image. No offense to Johnny or Savannah, just . . . yeah. No.

He glanced around, hoping Bel wasn't going to take it too badly. "Totally in the spirit of protest, right?"

Anders sighed. "Oh, for frak's sake, Bel, I'm not gonna sleep with him!"

Johnny looked over at Bel then back at Anders. "You're not going to sleep with me? But I thought you said you wouldn't mind --" God, he was such a smartass.

He looked back at Bel, grinning impishly.

Bel glared, because when he got all possessive he had zero sense of humor. "Don't make me kill you," he said to Johnny.

And as much as Anders thought it was hot when Bel was possessive, he really didn't want to have to deal with explaining to his little sister the panther cub what happened to the guy who was so interested in her.

"Okay, easy," he said, putting a hand on Bel's chest. "If you really don't want me to, even just for the sake of protest . . ."

"You could kiss me too, you know. I'm not particular." And that was freaking weird to say. Kissing a Von Doom look-alike? Yeah, totally freaking crazy.

"Hey guys, I'm just here to protest and make Savannah proud. Seriously. I do not want to die, not that that could seriously *cough* happen."

"As long as it's clear that he's mine," Bel said, relaxing just a little.

He looked over Johnny and snorted. "You seriously don't think I can't take you down?" he said.

"No fighting. We're supposed to fight Umbridge, not each other." Phoebe had tightened her hand on Cole's arm. "One kiss, and then the three of us go find a corner. What do you think about that, love?"

"That works for me," Anders said with a grateful look at Phoebe and a guilty glance in Johnny's direction -- he hadn't meant to get him into any kind of confrontation, even one that was cut short.

"I don't want him," Johnny clarified, staring at Bel and just Bel. "Untwist your boxers and chill."

He paused and glanced at Phoebe and Anders, though he cut his eyes back at Bel and couldn't help but add, "But yeah, I seriously know you can't take me down." What? Johnny believed honesty was always the best policy.

Bel was already on edge from the encounter with Lucifer, and now this punk was challenging him? "I can make you cry like a baby," he sneered. "You'll be on your knees begging for mercy."

Controlling his temper was not something Bel had learned to do well yet.

Phoebe tugged at Cole. "No. Not doing this, you two." She got in front of Cole. "Please."

A black face started moving out from a basket under the bleachers and a low growl started in her throat.

Anders was momentarily distracted by how hot he always thought it was when Phoebe got stern with them, but the growljarred him out of it.

"Savannah?" he muttered in surprise. With a sigh, he went over and kissed Bel on the mouth, hard. "I love you, moron, and you know I'm yours. Just let me do something to tell Umbridge to frak off, okay?"

He turned to Johnny. "Totally platonic, dude, right?"

"You could try," Johnny said to Bel before he looked over at the growl and winked at Savannah. All was cool. Really. Not like he was going to light up on fire and kick ass or anything. Least not tonight.

Turning to Anders he nodded. "Wouldn't have it any other way." Doesn't mean he wouldn't enjoy it.

"All right, man," Anders said, with a brief nervous laugh as he wiped his hands on his jeans. Oh, holy frakking Athena, this was going to be awkward.

He adopted a partially open stance and held his hands up, in a halfway inviting gesture. "Bring it."

Bel bit off a "Don't tempt me," when Anders kissed him. "Just make it quick," he growled. Then he looked away, because watching would likely seriously make him twitch. Silly possessive demon.

Trying to distract him, Phoebe pulled Cole to her and kissed him deeply.
