Second Floor Common Room - Tuesday Night

Meg was bored. Bored, bored, bored. She was far too used to having class five days a week. She had on her pj's (a green tank top and Neptune High cheerleader shorts) and was lounging on the couch. One leg was laid out in front of her and the other was hanging off the side of the couch. Not the most lady-like of poses, but she was feeling lazy. She was flipping through the channels, hoping there was something decent on.

"Oooh! Blue Planet!"

He had got to be kidding. Her cold, dead stare made it very clear that, no, she did not. She didn't learn how to walk against those who said she'd never be able to just to be able to cling to the back of another mammel.

"Doesn't the light hurt your eyes?" Okay, he couldn't help the snide remark. Special ed kid or not.

If Johnny thought Adah's look was cold before, there was no telling what he'd think of it now. "As a matter of fact," she couldn't avoid speaking now, her voice a little hoarse from disuse, "yes, it does." She failed to see what that had to do with anything, though.

Johnny was thinking Vampire but her talking sort of took away his feeling good at thinking it.

Adah's look back at Johnny explained that she was sure she did and also that she'd said what she had needed to and didn't plan on saying anything more if she could help it.
