Second Floor Common Room - Tuesday Night

Meg was bored. Bored, bored, bored. She was far too used to having class five days a week. She had on her pj's (a green tank top and Neptune High cheerleader shorts) and was lounging on the couch. One leg was laid out in front of her and the other was hanging off the side of the couch. Not the most lady-like of poses, but she was feeling lazy. She was flipping through the channels, hoping there was something decent on.

"Oooh! Blue Planet!"

Johnny wandered in to get some popcorn and ohh! Blonde, long legs -- wasn't looking! He covered his eyes with his hand and made his way to the kitchen, calling out. "Hey Meg!"

"Hey Johnny!" she called back. "Why are you covering your eyes?"

Isabel was killing time till it was evening on the West Coast. Which was why she was searching for a common room with people.

"What's on?" she asked, taking a seat on the couch.

"Blue Planet. Hope you like documentaries." Meg said. So far it looked like they were covering coral reefs tonight. "How have you been, Isabel?"

Johnny took a piece of popcorn and tossed it at Isabel. Cause he was a stinker.

Adah didn't know what she as thinking as she limped down to that accursed common room. Actually, she knew exactly what she was thinking. She was thinking of food. Food that should rhyme with good, but does not, but it did rhyme with mood, brood, aptitude of latitude. Food era, aye. Ye, A, are doof.

There were people, there, too; after being successfully antisocial the entire day, locked in her room studying her Japanese packet, despite knowing she didn't plan on going to class tomorrow with the library work, she even chanced to give a choppy, broken sort of nod toward the occupants of the room as she steadfastly limped toward the menacing hum of the refrigerator.

Meg smiled and gave Adah a friendly wave. "We're watching a documentary on ocean life, if you want to join us!"

Oh. The girl Johnny thought he scared. He waved and nodded and decided talking wasn't necessary.

"Hi!" Bridge waves cheerfully at the girl he doesn't recognise.

Isabel waved at the new person she thought she recognized from the roof party. "Hi!"

Bridge wanders in to the common room in search of television to watch and people to talk to.

"Hey! Little sibling type person. Hi!" Bridge says as he bounces on to a couch.

"Hey Bridge!" Meg said, giving him a wave. "We're watching a documentary on coral reefs. You interested?"

"Bridge! Hi!" Isabel waved. "There's fish!"

Anemone was in need of socialization after being left to her own devices all day in the library.

"Oooo. Fishies. Shiny." She flopped down on the floor bonelessly, eyes already riveted to the televison. "Hi people I don't know."

"Hi girl I've never met!" Meg said, grinning at her enthusiasm for fish. "I'm Meg."

"Isabel," Isabel waved by way of introduction. "And yes, lots of pretty fishies."

Abigail was bored, and there was no one hanging around on her floor, so she came downstairs in search of people.

Meg waved at the girl she'd never met before. "Hi! Come on in, we're watching a coral reef documentary."

So few people on this Earth could get that excited about coral.

Hoshi waved when she spotted her roommate.

Charlie went looking for people, and was happy to find them and Blue Planet. "Cool. Haven't seen this in a while." She smiled at Jo. Then frowned. Or maybe Meg? Wasn't that the name of the new girl who looked like Jo? "Hi?"

Johnny, because he was a stinker tonight, threw two pieces of popcorn at Charlie. Then he ducked his head and totally pretended that he didn't.

"Charlie!" Bridge waves enthusiastically. "Hi!"

Anders wasn't in the mood to lie around alone in his room tonight, so he wandered down the hall to the common room and flopped onto a corner of the floor. "People."

He was at least partly animated, if not bouncy.

Hoshi was headed back up to her floor when she heard all the noise coming from the second floor common room. She dropped in to see what was up.

Jack grabbed some chair action and waved at the people. "Hey," he said with a guynod.
