Third floor common room, Thursday evening

Why yes, that was a motorcycle in the common room. And yes, that was the floor length common room window opened as wide as it would go. And that was in fact a guy dressed in a very nice looking white leather racing suit with orange flames decals on it.

If it looked like he was preparing to do something very stupid in very public area, that was probably a trick of the light.

[OOC: Open. Mwahahaha.]

Blackheart was ever ready to see Blaze crash and burn.

Even if he had to wear this stupid helmet to do it.

"Of course."

Blaze put his own helmet on and closed his eyes. He tried to settle his mind and focus completely on what he was trying to do. He breathed deeply in and out. He could do this. He had to believe that he could.

And not think about the ground below at all.

Blackheart was less worried.

Actually, he was rolling his eyes.

Any time now, really. Aaaaaany time now.

Johnny's eyes snapped open, and he pushed the throttle forward while leaving the brake on. The wheels squealed as they span in place, gaining ever more compressed speed. Johnny watched as the needle crept its way up the speedometer, and as soon as it reached a point he was happy with, he flicked off the brake switch. The bike speed forward at an alarming speed.

And- they were off.

And they were out the window.

And they were in the air.

And Blackheart was still less than impressed.

Johnny's heart lept as the bike sped out the window and it to the air. He lived for the short moments of pure weightlessness like this. He closed his eyes for a moment to drink in the moment and the pure energy of freefall.

But the moment passed, and he reopened his eyes to focus entirely on the landing. To be honest, he'd never don this with a passenger before. He shifted hi weight so that the bike turned into the beginning of a downward arc.

And they were heading downward now. This was better. Marginally. They weren't on the ground yet. Blaze was still in one piece. Blackheart was terribly disappointed that they didn't just plummet to the ground right at the get-go.

Ah well. His patience should be rewarded. Soon. Soon.

The ground was rushing up at a faster speed than Johnny would have liked due to the extra weight. He bent down to get his center of gravity closer to the bank, and nudged the front of it towards the ramp.

The front wheel hit the dirt ramp with a bodyshaking THUD that jarred him. There was a wobble to the bike, and he leaned hard to one side to try and balance it out. The bike started to skid across the grass, and finally came to a stop resting on its right side a good 7 meters past their target.

Blackheart was staring at the ground. Hm. They were awfully close to the ground.

He looked at Blaze.

No, he wasn't dead. Damn.

"We made it," he noted.

Johnny let out the breath he'd been holding in the whole time they were in the air, before pulling himself out from under the bike and setting it upright.

"We made it." He gave Blackheart a smile that only wobbled a smidge. "Didja ever doubt me?"

"Not for a moment," Blackheart lied, trying not to sound too disappointed.

There should be brains all over the dirt.

Well, maybe not brains, stupid helmets. But at least guts. Blaze couldn't even get dying right.

Ugh, there was dirt on his pants. He growled a little.
