The Roof; Tuesday Morning.
The visit from the nervous artist kid the other day lead Adah to a startling realization, even if yesterday had proved it false. That only really provided that because it was quiet yesterday, it would be the opposite today, and, if she didn't want to be found, then why was she sequestering herself in the one place that anyone with half a brain would think to search for her? She should be hiding herself in the most unlikely of spots, the sort of place no one would think to find her, really. Even at the sacrifice of physical health. Because what was physical health, anyway? Certainly nothing she had ever been familiar with or ever expected to be familiar with, especially at the sake of her mental health, which she thought was very well in tact and treasured quite greatly.
Besides, it was a quiet morning with everyone below her probably still sleeping in due to the break from classes, although the cold of the coming winter was creeping in and worrying her that Virginia might still be too far north for what she grew up with, definately too north for what she'd become accustomed to. But, if she looked up at the clouds a little, so dull and boring compared to those orange and red clouds of dust of Kilanga, she felt a little bit calm, as if she could dull herself to blend with them and forget the pain from the journey up here. It was nice. It was worth it, assuming it stayed that way.

Being a Jedi in training, it might've meant disappearing entirely from Adah's mind for a moment or two.
