The pool, Saturday night

Johnny did several late night laps before he settled in a more shallow corner of the pool, making bubbles. No, not those kind. He heated the water surrounding him to create a nice hot tub atmosphere. Leaning his head back, eyes closed, he was letting the hotness of the water soak into his muscles, relaxing him fully.

He'd handwavily left a message for Savannah, letting her know where he would be in case she felt like joining him. But he was in a good frame of mind and would welcome any company. And since it was definitely a public place, not like he could say no, go away. Right?

Savannah had gotten his message and headed down to the pool area after she got in from work.

"Hey, sweetheart," she said with a smile when she came in.

Opening his eyes, he grinned over at her. "Hey, baby. Careful, the water's hot but feels so great."

Savannah sat on the tile beside him, but didn't touch the water. "Hmmm... I love the view."

Johnny's grin grew. "Do you?" He turned around and grabbed her ankles as his eyes moved over her. "Come in with me?"

She almost said "Don't you know by now I'd follow you anywhere?" because she wasn't sure how he would take that.

Instead, she gave him that special smile that she used only for him.

"Of course."

Johnny would love to hear something like that from her.

His hands smoothed their way up her calves, encouraging her to come in close to him. The water cooled some though so he could touch her without hurting her.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered.

She would probably end up slipping and saying something like that very soon.

She moved closer, slipping into the water in front of him. "And you're so very handsome," she said softly, looking up into his face.

His hands moved to her hips, up higher, slipping them around her waist to hold at the small of her back. He smiled down at her, bending his head to kiss her lightly. "How was your day," he asked.

Savannah wrapped her arms around his neck. "Am I going to sound completely uncool if I say I missed you?"

Johnny chuckled. "No, sweetheart. I've missed you too so if you're uncool then so am I." He turned them in the water, holding her up against him as he went deeper. "Remind me later to show you just how much I miss you."

Her eyes definitely lit up when he said that. "Mmm hmmm... I think I would definitely like you to know me how much you missed me." She held on, relaxing as he moved through the water.

"I can do that," he murmured, floating on his back and keeping her atop him, as he used his arms to move backwards idly across the water. "It might be a late night, Savannah, because I missed you bad."

She kissed his chin, enjoying this. "My love, I have no problems with it being a late night as long as I'm with you."

"Good," he said, his eyes on hers. "Because we can sleep all day tomorrow if you like. You're stuck with me, sweetheart."

"Johnny... I will never consider it being stuck. I love you and I like being with you." She smiled. "Spending all day in bed with you? That sounds wonderful."

"Wonderful it is then," he replied, his eyes dancing. "Are you cold? I can warm you up if you like."

"I am a little chilly," she admitted. "But... I don't want to move. I like laying here like this."

Johnny heated up his body and moved back towards the shallow end so he could sit on a lower step and settle her on his lap. "Better?" his large hand moved up and down her back while he leaned in to kiss her neck.

"Hmmm... I love sitting and you holding me." She tilted her head a little so he could have better access to her neck.

"Mmmm," he murmured. "Savannah, let's go now. I know you just barely came down here but... I want you to myself. Let's go back to our room."
