Third Floor Common Room [evening]

Evey had found her room with little difficulty, and after tossing her bag towards one of the (thank heaven) two beds, she'd memorized where she'd be returning and wandered out to see what she might find.

And naturally, the there was the common room on her floor, with a television (granted, much older than she was accustomed to, but it would do.) And where there was a television, there was news, and ways to catch up with the fact that she was twenty years in the past.

As a result, Evey was curled up on the couch, quietly flipping through channels and trying to acquaint herself with a world that seemed somewhat different from her history lessons. Perhaps her memory was just a touch fuzzy.

[open! come watch TV yay!]

"I definitely will," Alex grinned. "Oooh, I love milkshakes."

"And they say," A.J. commented, with an exaggerated breath and buffing his nails a little on his shirt. He knew he probably looked like a total dork, but he didn't really care, "that I do make the best."

"Oh, do they now?" Alex laughed. "Well, I'll have to test that, then."

"Don't just take my word for it. Ask anyone..."

There was a slight pause, an innocent shifting of his eyes.

"..err, that have actually come to the diner, that is."

"All right, if you say so," Alex grinned, laughing. "Right, okay. People who've gone to the diner," she nodded.
