Third Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

After waking up with an annoying back ache, Lucas padded out to the common room to see if there was anything decent to eat. He made himself some cereal and spread out on the couch, whining something about cocoa puffs and how no one could possibly feel his pain.

He turned the TV on. Maybe some sappy movies would make him feel better.

[ooc: open! mmmm, boys with girl pain! *is cruel*]

Luke shuffled into the common room wrapped completely in a bedspread and carrying his pillow.

"You're eating all the chocolate!" he accused, pointing at the cereal bowl.

"I wasn't the one who finished the cocoa puffs!" Lucas retorted, annoyed by the accusation. "This stuff sucks!"

"You suck," Luke said, flouncing over to a couch and curling up. "Is there any frosting in the fridge?"

"I don't know, but if there's cake in there, you're sharing!" Not that Lucas was getting up. "My back hurts and you shouldn't be mean to me. You don't even know me."

"I know you ate the chocolate cereal," Luke whined, waving his hand towards the fridge and opening the door.

Cream cheese frosting would have to do. He waved it over. "And I'm not sharing."

"How the hell?" Lucas stared at the magic boy. "Now that's so not fair!"

"I'm special and you're not," Luke said, digging two fingers into the jar. "Learn to live with it."

Lucas glared, "Fine Mr I-Wuv-My-Blankie-and-Have-Magic-Powers, don't share the frosting, but see if it helps that huge zit on your nose."

Luke buried his head deeper in blanket. "Shut up!"

"Make me," Lucas muttered, crossing his arms and trying to ignore the ache of his stomach. "Or don't you have that power?"

He obviously hadn't been in Fandom long enough to meet any witches.

Luke rolled his eyes, then used the Force to try to yank the cereal bowl out of the guy's hands.

Lucas gasped as the bowl went flying out of his hands. Then he glared at Luke, "I think I hate you."

Coraline was staring at the new boy, even knowing it was rude, because it was an impressive entrance. "There's more chocolate," she pointed out.

"I want that chocolate," Luke whined.

"You're whining," she pointed out, helpfully. "And that chocolate is Lucas'."

"Lucas is a stupid name," he grumped.

Coraline's eyes narrowed. "It is not a stupid name," she replied. "It's a perfectly good name."

"A perfectly good name is Luke," Luke said. "Lucas has too many syllables."

"Lucas is a good name. I like that name. And Coraline has even more syllables that that," she told him, crossing her arms. "Is that a stupid name, too?"

"Coraline is a good name," Luke replied. "Lucas is a Luke who's trying too hard."

"Or a Luke is a Lucas who isn't trying hard enough," she pointed out. "Like it got half way there and decided it was too hard to finish."

Not that Coraline really had an opinion either way, but Lucas was her roommate.

Luke's sulk got more pronounced. "Nuh-uh."

Spotting Luke, Alex was wondering what the heck was going on here.

"I could get you some more chocolate?" She had a stash in her room, plus, there was bound to be some more here.

Luke nodded, pouting. "I don't feeeeeeeel good," he whined.

Alex winced, feeling bad for Luke. "I'm sorry," and she meant it, too.
