Third Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

After waking up with an annoying back ache, Lucas padded out to the common room to see if there was anything decent to eat. He made himself some cereal and spread out on the couch, whining something about cocoa puffs and how no one could possibly feel his pain.

He turned the TV on. Maybe some sappy movies would make him feel better.

"Of course I would," Coraline told him and stood up. "Just wait here and don't go anywhere." If he was gremlin bitten, who knew what could happen.

With one last look at him, she hurried back to their room.

He watched her go, not moaning in agony or anything. Just leaning against the sofa and hating, hating Fandom and wanting to go home.

Lucas wondered if one week was too soon to call home.

Coraline came back, very quickly, and dropped an armful of chocolates (http://www.englishteastore.com/chocolate.html) in his lap. "They're from home."

Lucas grabbed up a Galaxy bar and ripped it open with his teeth. "Your home is the best place in the whole world," he said, taking a bite and sighing in satisfaction. "How is it so creamy?"

"I don't know. It just is. The chocolate you have here isn't very good," Coraline said. "Those are my favourites. Are you feeling any better?"

"Chocolate is like magic," he cooed, continuing to savor every bite. "Thanks."

"You're welcome," she told him. "And there's more if you want." Though if he ate all those, she had a feeling she'd be looking after a very nauseous roommate.

Finishing the bar, Lucas reached out to pat her shoulder. "Can I call you Cor or Coral? You can call me Luke if you want."

"I'll call you Luke if you want, but my name's Coraline. The whole thing." She didn't like nicknames at all. "Not Cor or Coral."

"Okay, Coraline, no nicknames for you," he agreed. "Other than best roommate ever?"
