Third Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

After waking up with an annoying back ache, Lucas padded out to the common room to see if there was anything decent to eat. He made himself some cereal and spread out on the couch, whining something about cocoa puffs and how no one could possibly feel his pain.

He turned the TV on. Maybe some sappy movies would make him feel better.

"Oh," she said, frowning. "All right. It's not very historically accurate, though. You'd be better off with a documentary."

"No, it happened, but the actual history behind it is much more interesting than two teenagers who didn't actually exist," she pointed out.

"But their love was epic!" he argued. "You must not believe in love if you don't believe in them." Lucas was possibly not thinking clearly after too much time in the common room.

He was drowning to save her," Lucas said, tossing his hands in the air. "It was selfless and she lived and that was all he wanted in the end."

"There was no room with her and her fat ass hanging on," Lucas pointed out rather rudely. "What they should've done was taken one of the little boats with the rich people."

"They should have, but they didn't, and I already stated that they were idiots," Hermione argued. "And she was hardly fat! She's a very healthy, respectable size!"

"It's true though," Lucas said. "If he'd lived, you know they would've broken up over something stupid and then he'd be off pining for her or vice versa and neither would ever be happy."
