The Dorm Stairwell, Monday Afternoon

Reno was antsy today. And antsy was not always the wisest state of being for Reno to remain in. He could try to drink it off, but drinking while he was feeling like this usually led to brawling, and he was trying to avoid being kicked off the island, here.

So he went with his other option- burn it off.

This was why Reno was running laps up and down the stairs of the dorms.

"I know Rikku," Ino nodded, "we work at the same place. And insane? I mean, he seemed a bit weird when I met him, but actually insane?"

She shrugged again, "Had to tell my boyfriend that I didn't think he was fat on Saturday, which was a bit weird, and he nearly cried on me which was even weirder."

"I'm of the opinion that Saturday never happened." The tone in Reno's voice and the look in his eye stated clearly that he wouldn't mind beating in the face of anyone who brought it up again. "Tamaki's a good kid. Little on the moody side. Spent last Monday stalkin' me all over the place, yo."

[intraspective]

"Fandom pulls strange things like that fairly often," she told him, "you get used to wishing certain days never happened. Stalking you?" Ino asked, amused, "Was he any good at it?"

"Knew he was followin' me the entire time," Reno snorted with a shrug of his shoulders. "Didn't call him on it until yesterday. I don't think he knew I was aware he was on my heels the whole time, yo."

[intraspective]

"Why was he following you in the first place?" Ino wondered, unsurprised that Reno had noticed it. Tamaki hadn't struck her as the subtle type. She grinned. "Maybe he's got a crush on you."

"Rikku said the same. If he is, I'm gonna bust in his teeth," he had to roll his eyes at the thought. "He said since I snapped at him the night before, he wanted to see what made me tick, so he followed me around."

And there he went with that smug smirking yet again.

"Apparently, I'm abrasive."

[intraspective]

"Well, you are," she pointed out, then tossed her head, "of course, some of us like that so I don't see what the problem is."

"Tamaki's issue, not mine," Reno agreed with a dismissive tilt of his head. "No sweat offa my ass, yo."

[intraspective]

"And it's such a cute ass," Ino grinned at him, and stretched, "I'll enjoy kicking it once I'm allowed to get all properly indignant and such."

That earned a smile? Hell yes.

"Lookin' forward to not actually gettin' it kicked by you, yo."

[intraspective]

"You keep thinking that," Ino said, with a toss of her head, "'cause I totally will. I'll see you around."

"See ya 'round, What's-yer-name," he replied with a grin and a wink before he started running again.
