2nd Floor Common Room, early afternoon

Johnny Castle set up his record player. Amazing that it was just there. And playing the music softly, he sort of laid around, waiting for his first dance partner to show up. Sometimes he hated his job. He had great ideas, he just never got to push them.

Today however, he might get in a bit of his own kind of dancing. What? If no one was around to tell him otherwise, he'd damn well do as he pleased.

Johnny stirred to life and smiled as he came to his feet. Teaching pretty girls wasn't so bad after all. "Well hello back to you," he said. "Are you ready?"

"Oooh, I like that attitude," she said with a sly grin. "You don't waste much time, do you?" She slipped into his arms, rubbing her body against his.

"Yeah, and neither do you," he said, his arm going around her slender waist. "You familiar with moving this way?" he asked, already beginning to sway lightly with her.

Cassandra stalked into the common room looking around dangerously. She spotted Johnny and she smiled coldly, "I hope for your sake you can explain what is going on."

"Excuse me?" he said, coming to his feet and checking her out. "Are you not here for the dance lessons?" Cause everyone that came in was here for the dance lessons. Weren't they?

One hand slipped over her shoulder to run a finger up the hilt of her sword and she smiled coldly., "I don't think you have much to teach me about dance."

Johnny cocked his head, trying to see what she was caressing back there. "You know how to dance then?" he asked, folding his arms across his chest. "Bet you don't know my kind of dance."

If there was one thing Cassandra could not pass up, it was a challenge. "And what," she asked with a dangerous glint in her eyes, "Will you bet?"

Kirsten was in search of Kristin and Gibby and wandered into the common room.

She cast a wary eye over the occupants. None of them looked familiar and she wondered if they were cool enough to warrant her actually talking to them.

Johnny waved. Great. A new dance partner. "How ya doing?"

Was he talking to her? Kirsten glanced around and realized he must be. "Okay," she said, her tone cool. He was kind of hot, but she still wasn't sure if he was worth her time.

He chuckled. "Yeah, I'm talking to you." Coming to his feet, he decided to ask instead of assume. "You here for dance lessons?"

"Dance lessons?" Kirsten replied. "Um, no. I was looking for my friends Kristin and Gibby."

Fiona saw the cool looking girl heading into the common room and thought perhaps she should warn her. "Be careful," she said, poking her head into the room. "He's going to try to charge you!"

"Charge me for what?" Kirsten asked.

"He'll cozy all up to you and then suggest that if you want sex you can go somewhere else with him to discuss his 'fee'. And then he'll call the snuggling up a dance lesson and try to charge you for that too!"

Hoshi was wandering around the dorms since it was way too cold outside for what she was wearing. Hearing music coming from the second floor common room, she walked in to see what was going on.

Johnny was yes, sprawled on the floor again cause this icon amuses me greatly, and waved at the newcomer. "How's it going?"

"I'm bored," said Hoshi with a smirk. "There's nothing to do around this place."

Hoshi sneered. "Now why would I do that?" she asked.
