Flag Football Practice: Gym, Sunday Noon

John was feeling pretty good and had decided to run practice in a more traditional manner this week. He got to the gym and got out the footballs and flags before setting up cones around the perimeter of the gym.

"Okay, guys. Today it's time to get back to basics. After last week's, uh, interesting practice, I think we need to do some more focused work on passing and catching. We'll start with some good old fashioned laps around the gym and go from there!" John was far too excited at the prospect of running laps and was grinning rather a lot.

Billy went for it, but managed to hold himself back before he'd have made a jump that would have torn his stitches and been very bad. The ball landed on the ground, and he went after it, grumbling.

"Uh, sorry," Jack called. And held out his arms. He's open like an open thing.

"Sokay!" Billy called. He hadn't been grumlbing about Jack. Picking up the ball, he gauged the distance, and then threw. It was a decent throw, but not his best.

Jack caught it and even kept his balance. He looked like an idiot, but it worked.

He took aim (careful aim, even) and fired it at Billy. Easy catch. Right to 'im.

And Billy caught it. He threw again, but it was a little high.

Jack ran back for it, making an awesome leap to catch it.

...it'd be a shame if he landed on someone to ruin the awesomeness.
