Third floor common room, Thursday evening

After being on the receiving end of a gremlin's bite, Jaina, Evey and Inara headed into the common room, because that was the best place for a show. There may have been a little strut like movement involved, even.

It was best not to wonder where they got the clothes.

Where the singing is happening. God, I hope at least one of them can sing.

Evey...could not sing. But that didn't matter, because tonight she was sex on legs and she knew it.

Sex on very bare legs. Sex in something wee and fringed. Sex in a hot pink wig.

Best not to ask where that particular item came from.

Evey struck her most provocative pose, peeking over her shoulder and swiveling her hips slightly, and began to sing.

Luke wandered into the common room, Artoo following along behind him beeping softly to himself.

The both stopped.

Luke stared.

Artoo started recording.

Gavin would've looked shocked.

He would've been speechless.

But he knew the signs by now and all he could do was stare and laugh and point and laugh.

No one was forgetting this. NO ONE.

Karal wandered in and stopped short, staring open-mouthed. "But..."

His brain hadn't recovered. "I don't--"

Nope, not quite yet. "Glory!"

He was trying very, very hard not to laugh, but a tiny shocked snort of amusement escaped, even as he was facepalming.

John was suffering from a mixture of awe and hysterical laughter. This was possibly the best thing ever. "Oh, thank God Artoo is here!"

"This is great!" John grinned, bumping Gavin's shoulder.

Jaina couldn't sing either, but with the very hi there bustier and the fabric on her bottom half that yes, were in fact shorts of a sort, probably no one was going to be paying attention to the singing. And if they were, that was their fault.

This sort of dancing was sort of new, too, and involved some shaking and hip-wiggling.

Right now it didn't matter that she'd have to kill herself later.

"The best ever!" Gavin exclaimed, clapping with such delight. "And it's finally not me! I'm not dancing and singing this time!"

John tilted his head to the side, "Those so aren't her clothes, but I'm voting for keeping them!"

Sky thought he heard noise coming from a floor below, so he decided to investigate.

And couldn't stop staring, in spite of himself.

Inara's voice actually wasn't bad, not that it mattered by this point. The gold collar and corset made moving an adventure, but at least the black skirt (from some closet not her own) kept things covered.

She was also suddenly glad she knew how to walk in high heels, because these were. Very high.

Inara strutted forward, did a knee bend/wriggling kind of movement and winked slyly at any audience members who had assembled by that point.

"And wearing them again!" Gavin added. "A few times! Man, I wish I had a recording device of some kind."

Well, Artoo was there.

"If Artoo doesn't make copies, I just might cry."

"We'll thing of a good bribe for the droid," John decided.

"I just can't rip my eyes away. And I look forward to telling Jaina that my girlfriend is hot like her. But I didn't know about the freak thing." John might not have been comprehensible given the low laugh that had taken him over.

Evey blew a kiss to the audience, licking her lips before arching her back and starting to sing again.

She would have to hide under her bed starting tomorrow. Maybe the school would let her do independent study from there!

These were the thoughts she would have had if she was in her right mind. As it was, she just pursed her lips and made the fringe on her...outfit move.

Sam came down the hall to see what all the noise was about, and stared.

He was really, really happy Dawn wasn't involved in whatever was going on.

Gavin had to cover his mouth with his hand so as not to be too too loud. "It's a hidden side of all three of them. Very hidden. Really very hidden. I so want to know what they mean by raw, don't you?"

Jaina raised her arms to pull her hair up on top of her head, letting it drop back down around her shoulders sexily, like something you'd see on an Herbal Essence commercial. Or a Pussycat Dolls video, funnily enough.

Tomorrow (and her upcoming day hiding under the bed) were far from Inara's thoughts as she bent over and then straightened, slowly, for no other purpose than to show off her flexibility and make her hair poofy.

"Yes!" John exclaimed. "We need to question them later." He was going to have too much fun with this.

"And I'm really wondering why Jaina refused to sing for me before." Possibly because he could barely listen to the singing when he was watching her hip-wiggling.

Naomi had been on her way back to her room when she came by the common room. When she noticed what was actually going on she stopped and stared.

"Ooooooh." Now, Gavin was distracted and rightfully so. "I want a private performance of some of these moves."

Later, he'd think on the possibility of getting slapped. But not right now.

"I'm thinking that should be included when they try to force us to never mention it again," John said, watching the show with great interest.

"Because you know at some point they'll try to make us stop talking about it." John was looking forward to that conversation.
