Flag Football Practice: Gym, Sunday Noon

John was EXCITED! It was Sunday and Sunday meant Flag Football practice with his friends. There were bunches of footballs everywhere and he'd set up the lane cones just like he'd learned!

And then John was bouncing and zooming around the room, yelling that he was gonna be Doug Floutie and win the game by fly-ying in at the last second with a touchdown!

John was so going to need a nap later.

[everybody is welcome to come play!]

Billy had the ball! Billy had the ball! He was gonna make a touchdown and save the world!

As children sometimes get ouchies when playing things like this, I offer up Billy for collisions, contusions and...I can't think of a third.

Adam was just sitting there, watching all his weetiny friends running around. It was way too amusing.

Adam really should have been used to this by now. Not expecting the sudden tackle, Adam fell backwards a bit.

Laughing, he shook his head. "Hey, Savannah," he grinned. "You're pretty strong, you know that?"

Sokka was winning.

No, really. With the way he kept spiking the football in the endzone and dancing over and over again, he MUST be racking up the points like crazy. "TOUCHDOWN!!!"

...Yeah, this could only end up badly. Chad set modded wee!Teddy down, in case he wanted to play around with the others that were more his size, although he was going to keep an eye on him in case he got a little bit out of control with his strength.

And then Chad prepared himself for at least a few certain little tiny ones trying to tackle him, despite the fact that they probably couldn't even tackle him even if they were normal age.

And there was Annette making a beeline straight for Chad's legs. He might have been prepared by the way she was laughing as she ran.

And promptly had a small alien child clinging to his leg again.

His Chad.

No one else's.

Andros was running around and giggling. He didn't have the ball but he didn't seem to mind.

Willow was there waving a little blue flag to indicate the awesomeness of her team.

Peter approached Willow tentatively, one of his hands behind her back. "Hi Willow."

Andrew quietly wandered into the gym. He stayed half-hidden behind the bleachers, but clapped lightly and smiled every time John did something silly.
