Flag Football Practice: Gym, Sunday Noon

John was EXCITED! It was Sunday and Sunday meant Flag Football practice with his friends. There were bunches of footballs everywhere and he'd set up the lane cones just like he'd learned!

And then John was bouncing and zooming around the room, yelling that he was gonna be Doug Floutie and win the game by fly-ying in at the last second with a touchdown!

John was so going to need a nap later.

Savannah nodded. "Okay, Adam," she promised. "Next time I want to cook I'll come get you."

"Good," Adam nodded, smiling. "Then maybe we can make cupcakes or something with lots of chocolate. Would you like to do that?"

Savannah bounced up and down. "I would like that very much."

Adam laughed, nodding. "It will be fun." And probably messy, but he didn't mind.

Savannah put her arms around his neck and hugged him. "You are one of the bestest guys ever, Adam."

And that would be Adam melting and internally 'awww'ing at Savannah. He smiled and hugged her back. "Thank you, Savannah. That means a lot." And really, it did.
