Blissfully unaware there was anything at all odd about today, Romeo padded into the common room and found some cold cereal to eat while he watched a morning talk show.

They were making over erotic dancers, and Romeo decided the "on stage" looks were much better than the "daytime" looks. It was purely an aesthetic decision, of course -- at least the on stage looks didn't involve floral cardigans.

Rikku was going to try her best to look heartbroken.

Sokka eyed the boy, turning things over in his mind. What. The. Hell???

He tried to think of someone he'd hit on who kept turning him down, and couldn't come up with anyone that fit the insane person in front of him. "...Jenny?" he hazarded.

"I'd probably have an accent if I were Jenny," Rikku grinned. "Or do those disappear when the boobs go? Can I get another kiss? You didn't even give me tongue."

Sokka snorted. "No, you're definitely NOT Mel. I would know." He tried again. "...Orangey?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Maybe I'm just a guy. A real actual guy who just gave you cooties by mouth."

Sokka grinned and swung a light punch at her shoulder. "Get your cooties away from me!"

"Yeah, NOT going to happen!" Sokka countered. "Should I tell Reno what you're doing to strange guys?"

"Nah, we're sorta ..." She waved vaguely. "I dunno. Right now."

Sokka... Didn't want to pry. "Uh. Okay. Sorry. ...But that DOESN'T make it okay to kiss me!!!"

Mel? Trying very hard not to lose complete control of her bladder as she witnesses all of this.

Sokka shrugged. "Mission accomplished! Go you!" He put up a hand to high five Rikku, and then turned to Mel. "It's not THAT funny!!!" he insisted.

"Seriously is," Rikku laughed. "I'm sorry, Mel, I couldn't help myself. Being a boy made it so much clearer." She pretended to swoon.

Mel is doing one of those laughs where he's shaking with laughter but not making a sound.

He's also pounding his fist on the ground.

Sokka turned bright red and looked from Mel to Rikku and back again. "She's laughing at YOU, you know," he told Rikku.

Mel had finally stopped laughing and was gasping for air as he laid on his back on the floor.
