Blissfully unaware there was anything at all odd about today, Romeo padded into the common room and found some cold cereal to eat while he watched a morning talk show.

They were making over erotic dancers, and Romeo decided the "on stage" looks were much better than the "daytime" looks. It was purely an aesthetic decision, of course -- at least the on stage looks didn't involve floral cardigans.

"Well, not THAT, exactly," Sokka corrected. "I mean, that's an ugly sweater." He looked around, confused. "No, not right now? Class isn't until later."

"My boyfriend ladies and gentlemen," Mel announced to no one in particular. "Hands off. He's all mine."

Sokka blinked at her. He wasn't entirely sure what had just happened, but he was pretty sure he'd somehow made a fool of himself. Which meant he was thrown into full red alert -- time to duck, cover, and inflate the emergency ego.

"Yeah, that's me!" he announced, raising his hands over his head triumphantly. That's right! Awesome incarnate! You know you want me!"

"Don't worry," Mel announced. "He's here all week. Plenty enough to go around."

"That's right, because I'm too much for you to HANDLE all by yourself!" Sokka may be lost, but darn it, he was going to WIN.
