4th Floor Common Room [Sunday, Morning]
Mac had never been so glad to have access to caffeine. Sunday mornings were supposed to be for lie-ins.
Kids, as it turned out, woke up antisocially early and usually only to demand food. Well, that was what the shape of the last twenty-four hours told her, anyway.
That, and that she should invest in electronic tagging. Mainly for Miles. Maybe Veronica could set her up with child lo-jack...
Anyway, once she'd finally figured out that if you gave them lots of cereal and sit them in front of cartoons they didn't break things quite so much, she did just that, and settled down with her coffee to make the most of the break. However short-lived that might be.

"Enjoying your visit so far?" she asked.

Amy, who'd given up on cartoons, wandered over with a sticky handful of Lucky Charms that she offered to Faith.

"I may regret all this sugar later," Mac said.

Amy on the other hand grinned brightly and filled her mouth with most of that handful.

In between eating she introduced herself to Amy. "I'm Faith. Nice to meet you."

Which translated to 'I'm Amy', but in 'I've-just-stuffed-food-in-my-mouth' talk.

Unfortunately, you seemed to get maybe two words, tops, out of Amy.
Mac talked, at least, though. "For the moment, she's easier to deal with than the older one. Less crazy running around and breaking things."
