Ursa Major Campfire: Sunday Evening [5-10-08]

C1. That was easy enough to remember.

It had taken her two trips to move her things down to the cabins, largely because she couldn't narrow down what books she wanted to bring any further, and of course she was sure she'd soon discover things she'd forgotten. But for now she was enjoying her favorite part of living in the cabins.

The campfire.

She just wished she'd remembered to get some marshmallows.

"Hey Meg," Lana said with a smile. "Yeah, I think it's the one realy redeeming feature about living in the cabins."

"Looks like I'll be spending a lot of time in front of the campfire then," she said. "But if one bug gets on me I'm probably going to flail around screaming. Just a warning."

Lana laughed. "Bug spray is our friend," she said solemnly.

"Oh honey, you have no idea," she said, grinning. "I've got a whole bag full of bug spray and sunscreen in the cabin. I'm prepared."

"Ah, you're my kind of friend!" Lana said with a grin."

Meg laughed. "You are welcome to my stash of bug spray and sunscreen any time."

"And you to mine, should you run low," Lana offered. "Believe me, they're about my most important thing here. Almost more important than my books."

"I brought a ton of books too," Meg said. "But somehow I don't think I brought enough."

"I know!" Lana said with feeling. "Well, we can borrow each other's, that will give us a few extra."

"Ooo, yes, that'll definitely help," Meg said, nodding. "I was worried about what I was going to do with myself now that I don't have classes."

"Yeah, I figure sun and books are my friends," Lana agreed.
