Ursa Major Campfire: Sunday Evening [5-10-08]

C1. That was easy enough to remember.

It had taken her two trips to move her things down to the cabins, largely because she couldn't narrow down what books she wanted to bring any further, and of course she was sure she'd soon discover things she'd forgotten. But for now she was enjoying her favorite part of living in the cabins.

The campfire.

She just wished she'd remembered to get some marshmallows.

"Too easy to scorch it," Isabel pointed out before wiggling her fingers. "That's what you have me around for."

"Oh, right," Lana said. "We should definitely plan a chocolate fondue night, then!"

"Just tell me when. Because other then working on whatever project they've got going and working at the store, I've got nothing going on."

Lana nodded. "I'm pretty free myself. I work on Tuesdays and TA on Wednesdays, but other than that I'm good."

"The summer of sloth before college life begins," Isabel sighed. "I'm going to make the best of it because come September, I'm going to be busy."

"Me too," Lana said quietly. "Hopefully, it will all be worth it in the end, though."

"Well when you need to arrange a convention of forensic scientists, I'll be able to help you," she pointed out. "So yeah, it will."

"I hadn't thought of it that way," Lana said, "but sure. And if you ever need forensic help, well... Drs. Lee and Palmbach are two of the best in the world. They should be able to teach me something useful!"

"If I ever need forensic help it'll be more then likely be along the lines of what you've already done," Isabel said. "Helping me fake it."

"Well, I'll be better able to cover our tracks, then," she said with a grin.

"Exactly. So we're all set."
