Ursa Major Campfire: Sunday Evening [5-10-08]

C1. That was easy enough to remember.

It had taken her two trips to move her things down to the cabins, largely because she couldn't narrow down what books she wanted to bring any further, and of course she was sure she'd soon discover things she'd forgotten. But for now she was enjoying her favorite part of living in the cabins.

The campfire.

She just wished she'd remembered to get some marshmallows.

"Somehow I didn't think they were," she said with a smirk. "But there's lots of other wonderful stuff to see."

"Does look like a damn pretty island," Shawn said with a nod. "Never been to Greece before, so I guess it doesn't take a whole lot to impress me."

"Me neither," Lana said. "I'm just so excited to have this opportunity."

"Gotta love the whole 'free holiday' thing," Shawn said with a nod. "Hadn't done much outside the US before."

"I went to a little island in the mediterranean for a weekend a few months ago," Lana said. "But we really didn't go anywhere other than the house and the beach."

"When it comes to most small mediterranean islands... " Shawn nodded, "That's about all you need. Time and space to relax seems to be the most important part. Only just starting to learn that."

"It can be hard to just relax and not try to fill your days with things to do," she agreed. "Makes you have to just be okay with yourself."

"I guess, when you're used to filling every day with something," Shawn said thoughtfully. "That might be a problem. I think I should manage pretty well, though."
