Scorpius Campfire, Sunday Evening

As it turned out, Jen didn't handle hangovers very well, which had something to do with the way she'd managed to completely miss out on any and all pony-related activities yesterday.

She could have been a pony for all she knew, but she'd been asleep through all of it thanks to the wonders of Aleve; apparently 21st-century painkillers had quite the effect on a 31st-century physiology unused to them. So yay for that, she supposed.

She'd managed to get a fire going -- a small and kind of ragged one, definitely not the kind of fire-building that would win a merit badge, but it was erratically crackling away as Jen went through some martial arts forms nearby. Sure, there was a gym on the campgrounds, but being around all these trees made her kind of nostalgic for the days when the best she'd had was that rope-wrapped tree in that Silver Hills park.

Besides, this was where she'd laid out the s'more makings. Duh.

It was harder to blame the ponies on hallucinations due to a spiked water supply this way. "Did you have a tramp stamp too?"

"I had no complaints," Chad said, shrugging a little. "It seemed to fit. Don't know what else it would have been. Maybe a kitten, but that seems too complex."

"Most likely," Chad said, nodding. He was also picturing that it could be a doll like Kon's doll, but he wasn't exactly sure how he'd explain Kon to Brooke, so he didn't mention it.

"But...it's Fandom," Chad argued lightly, although with a very insistent rumble in his voice that made it clear he felt that this was a valid argument to her point. Just in case, though, he added, "What did you expect?"

Chad....slowly came around to exactly what that meant. The kid invasion wasn't nearly as shaking when you just had the same kid from last time show up, only older. "Oh..."

If Chad's response came slow, it was mostly because he had a quick debate about himself as to whether or not he could have this conversation 1)while his boyfriend was in space and 2) with his little sister.

"Oh, yeah," he finally submitted. "Totally. In a flash."

There was a small smile somewhere in the corner of Chad's mouth. "Good. Glad I could help. I mean, definitely hot. I'd be into you if I didn't have a boyfriend already and you weren't my sister."
