Camp Gym; Monday Morning.
After having been slacking around for way too long, Cal headed over to the gym that morning determined not to be distracted by breakfast, woodland creatures, or frighteningly optimistic redheads. Yawning slightly from the early wake up call, he came in, stretched a little, and then got to work on his bench press sets slowly to ease back into the trend.
[[ open gym is open! Although I'll hit a bit of SP in the afternoon to probably sit and wait at the Secretary of State for five hours. WHEEEE ]]

"Cal," he offered. "Nice to meet you."

Holing the dumbbells, he kept his back straight and head up. Beginning to curl in with his palms wrapped around the dumbbell, he reached out past his thighs then turned his palms up for the remainder curl until shoulder height. He concentrated on his biceps while he raised and lowered the weights.
He did notice the other guy and thought he must be a new kid because he hadn't seen him around, which could in fact be a fault of Johnny's since he hadn't been hanging around much.

And thinking that it would be kind of nice if all the beefcakes stopped coming in and making him feel like a freaking twig by comparison.

Usually Johnny came in, did his thing, and left. He figured that's what everyone did when they came to the gym. However, nothing wrong with pleasantries if they were offered.

It was an odd place for a workout, but that couldn't be helped. Civilians.
She nodded vaguely toward the boy already in use of it.

He blinked, then smirked as he took a better look and was pretty sure he recognized the symbol from this weekend. "Holy crap," he announced, "it's actually being worn on someone's forehead."

"And you're not sparkling anymore. Shame."
