Camp gym, Friday afternoon

Jaina had been pretty dedicated in her training for a while now, but she had to admit that she'd stepped it up since getting to the cabins. Every day she seemed to be doing something, whether it be in the gym or salle or the flight shed. Maybe she was just working out frustrations or something.

Today she was working out with the bag again, mostly testing her own stamina. Occasionally she'd use the Force to add weight to a punch or a kick, just to see what she could do. Might as well get the trial and error out now so she was prepared if she really had to use it.

"It taught you well," Jaina said. Again she added a bit of a push, stronger this time, really sort of impressed at how he handled it.

The force of it pushed him back, but he remained on his feet. "Sometimes it pays to focus in class." Which was much easier to do when she wasn't there.

"You can do that?" she teased, pounding into the bag a little harder normally. She was actually finding it easier to put more strength the more she saw what she could do if she cheated.

"Don't worry, I got Jo to take a picture for posterior. Or was that of my posterior for posterity. Something," he teased back, from behind the bag.

She quirked an eyebrow. "Do I get a copy?"

"I don't think so," he shook his head.

Just for that, she made sure to hit especially hard this time, and adding a bigger Force push to it.

Teasing her was much more fun when she wasn't violent. Her hit caught him off-balance and he landed with a thud on his rear.

She poked her head around the side of the bag. "Sorry about that!"

Getting back to his feet, he brushed the dust off his shorts. "Seems I needed that," he said.

"Well, you're a tease," she said simply. "You okay?"

He really was a tease. "I don't know, maybe you should check me for injuries."

"I think whoever checks the security footage might disagree with you," she pointed out.

"Why's that?" he asked, feigning innocence.

"Because they'd just end up being very jealous," she replied.

"Because you're so thorough?" he teased.

"I was going to say jealous of me," she said.

He raised an eyebrow, "Oh?"

She decided to do some teasing of her own by not clarifying. "Uh huh."

He made his way around the bag to get closer to her. "You know I'm going to need some sort of explanation, right?"

"I wouldn't have thought you needed it," Jaina said, definitely ignoring the bag now. "But since I'd be the one who gets to check you over..."

"We should make some people jealous," he decided, lifting his hand to brush his fingertips along her cheek.

Amazing how that could still make her heart pound. "You want to show off?" she asked, sliding her arms around his waist.

"Maybe," he said, placing his free hand on her hip. "I do like it when you show off."

"I wasn't aware I did," she said, pulling herself closer. The big liar.
