The pool, Thursday after classes
"...and here we are! Ta-da!" Amber exclaimed, arms extended. "The pool, Hannibal, in all it's non-YMCA glory."
Amber had indeed, stopped by his room to see if he was ready to head to the basement, and to see if he had still actually wanted to go. It was a yes on both accounts and she couldn't have been more pleased.
Shrugging off her bag, slipping off her flip-flops, she grinned over at him. "Last one in is a rotten egg." And she ran the few feet towards the pool, diving in.
[Amber's here for Hannibal, who was modded with permission, but the pool is totally open, yo!]

The water might be cold and all. He had to warm up.
"Looks like you won," he said, smiling when she surfaced. "Bigger than I expected."

She floated on her back, still with the grin as she looked over at him. Yah, boy, was he fit. Holy cow. Loretta'd be all over him like white on rice with a side of 'mmhmm'.
"It's nice, and are you bein' a baby? Or just lettin' me gawk at you a little?"

Amber dived down and came back up, flicking water towards him.

"One of my classes this session is all about childhood games. This school pretty much rocks for its class choices."

"Feels good in here, doesn't it?"

"It wasn't much fun," she added quietly.

Amber grinned and dove down under the water. She didn't want to talk about hell anymore. She was perhaps, wondering just how good of a swimmer Hannibal was.

He ducked under as well and swam smoothly after her.

[running a quick errand! shouldn't be gone long.]

[Bye!]

Not yet, at least.
He swam past her legs, close enough that she could probably feel it before popping up in front of her, smiling.

"So now you have an honest opinion of the pool, I'm sure. Is it everythin' you thought'd it be?"
