Outside the Dorms, Monday Morning

The previous night Jo had gone carousing on Tortuga, but rather than a hangover she'd expected, this morning she had a much more aggravating souvenir.

"Go on," she said, waving her hands. "Scat. Go home."

The dog just looked up at Jo, wagging its tail vigorously.

Jo grinned. "Yeah, she's got a bit of a reputation for it."

"I didn't know that," Viki said. "Though she seemed rather too nice to kick people often."

"More of an only kicking people when they deserve it from what I can tell, I'm not sure she's even kicked anyone recently."

"Oh," she grinned at Jet. "That does sound much better, put that way."
