Toby was really very depressed about Kevin being a complete tool and breaking up with him. Again. He didn't feel like doing much of anything after waking up at 1pm all sticky with rum, so he'd showered and drug his pillows out to the common room to watch some daytime drama.

"Oh Colt, you should know better than that," he said, eyes glued to the program. "She's a tramp! Go for Travis, at least he's hot!"

Searching for food once more, Teddy paused at the shouting.

"Are you slashing soap opera characters?"

Toby looked up at the boy confusedly. "Well, yeah. It's so obvious."

Teddy shrugged helplessly. "I've never seen the show," He admitted. Now if he was talking about Ratman and the first Sparrow...

"Hey, man," Lee said, having no idea who the 'man' in question was but always good to be friendly.

"Hey." Yep, didn't know him either. And now was letting the silence stretch out...

"I'm Teddy."

Seeing Teddy down here was definitely a pleasant surprise.

"Hey!" Teddy grinned and went for a nice hello kiss.

Lee wandered down the hall from his room and peeked in. When he saw Toby, he waved. "You doing all right, man?"

Toby sighed, reminded of his breakup, "I'm going okay, Lee. Apparently I just need to move on."

"I could take you out," Lee offered. "Get you drunk or get you something else?"

Agnes nodded politely at Lee.

"Hey there," Lee said, waving. "How goes it?"

Kaylee wandered in with an armful of oranges and found herself a spot on a couch. "What're we watchin'?"

"Daytime soaps," Toby replied, smiling up at Kaylee. "Hopefully those boys'll make out soon."

"Shiny," she decided, spreading out the citrus so she could peel one of them. "They ain't related or nothin', right?"

Teddy waved faintly to the girl who was his boyfriend for a while. "Hey."

Chad had to give Kaylee a wave when he spotted her. "Glad to have your body back?" he asked.

Agnes smiled at Kaylee shyly. "Might I have one?"

Chad had taken his time coming back up to his room after lunch, noticed people in the common room, and decided to poke his head in a bit.

"Anything good on?" he asked when he noticed they were watching TV, even though, really, there never really was.

"Soaps!" Toby told him. "You a fan?"

Agnes waved at Chad. "Hello again!"

"Can they actually hear you, or are you just shouting because you want to?"

Really, it was an important question. Agnes had thought she understood the television concept, but now wasn't so sure.
