Second Floor Common Room [Thursday Evening]

Ned decided to cook.

After realizing he hadn't cooked anything but a can of soup (take out dinners were so much easier) in the last few weeks, he decided to rectify with a new take on a pie he'd made in the past.

So, there were supplies and ingredients and a guy in a flour stained blue apron moving about the common room.

[Open, yep! He'll share!]

"I can make myself a sandwich and then have your dessert," Romeo decided, rummaging for bread and peanut butter. "Or I could just have two desserts ..."

This was clearly a difficult choice.

Romeo looked distinctly interested, but he started making the sandwich anyhow. Growing boy, and all.

"That would be an amazing party dessert," he decided. "People could carry them around, and there wouldn't be the bother of needing to cut the pie into even slices and all of that."
withoutverona: (Not quite certain)

Romeo took that seriously. Booze was important. "You could do something like Jello shots in pie crust," he suggested. "Though that probably would not be as good as what you have in the bowl."

He thought more. "Maybe some Bailey's mixed in, instead of milk or cream."

"Jello shots are Jello made with everclear or vodka instead of water," Romeo explained, pushing his hair back. "Bailey's is a liquor made of cream."

He paused, and confessed, "I am a bit of a drinker."

"That doesn't sound -" much like the kind of boarding schools Romeo was used to hearing about, really. "- like a very nice place."

It was sad, if the best that could be said was that a place was better than being homeless, but Romeo wasn't inclined to pry just then.

"Oh, you know Ino?" Romeo brightened. "She lives next door to me. She's an interesting one, isn't she?"
withoutverona: (romeo romeo!)

"She makes me smile too," Romeo said. "And she got me a gun when we were in Paris. I trust her." Which was high praise. "Which classes are you in this term?"
withoutverona: (most sensitive boy)

"Is that the one the woman from the radio teaches?" Romeo wondered. "My girlfriend is taking it, but I've not asked her about it. I have something on destiny, and then modeling and auto mechanics."
withoutverona: (a little james dean)

"Aye," Romeo said, looking a little ashamed. "I wanted something easy. It's mostly Professor Deadpool trying to get us to dress in drag. We've done heels and makeup thus far."
withoutverona: (Wearing eyeliner (I blame Mercutio))

"Normally," Romeo said. "Professor Deadpool wears red pajamas and a mask, so perhaps his fashion sense for men is just off. He might have false eyelashes and blush behind the mask."
withoutverona: (Making a point)

[personal profile] withoutverona 2008-07-25 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
"It's a red fitted costume .... thing with a mask to cover the face," Romeo said, terribly descriptively. "Someone in class calls it pajamas so that stuck in my mind. I don't know that he sleeps in it."

Though that wouldn't surprise him, really.
withoutverona: (B+W squinting)

"You always match," Romeo nodded. "No need to worry about the season or the weather..."

"Though I'm not sure how that fits into teaching a class on modeling, come to think of it."
