Johnny was chillaxin on the sofa, ESPN was on the TV, and he was working his way through a meatball sub. There were extra on the counter if anyone wanted to help themselves. He didn't make them so they were excellent.

There wasn't a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon as far as he was concerned.

"Tell me you're watching an interesting sport," Angela said hopefully as she came in. It was a Sunday afternoon, and she was getting bored.

"Nascar countdown," he answered, his mouth half-full. Johnny glanced over at her. "Hey, I don't think I know you."

Well, it wouldn't have been her first choice, but at least it wasn't golf.

"Don't think I know you either," Angela surmised as she slid down into a space on the couch. "Angela Montenegro," she added with a grin.

Angela? The Angela his girlfriend had mentioned? Well now, Johnny's afternoon was certainly looking up. He had sports, his belly was full, and here was a girl who could possibly be a candidate for a threesome. If Savannah could flirt and ask Toby, Johnny could have a little fun too, right?

"Pleased to meet you, Angela. Johnny Storm," he replied, leaning over and extending his hand.

Angela's face brightened with recognition. "Oh, you're Savannah's boyfriend?" she said. "She mentioned you."

"You have a significant other, Angela?" Might as well push forward. Modesty? Johnny didn't much believe in it.

"No," Angela said with a slow shake of her head. "I'm pretty happy with not being tied down at the moment."

Jack wandered in...and spied a meatball sub. He zeroed in on the free food.

Johnny looked over. "Hey... Jack is it?"

"Hey. Jack. Jack Burton. Are these subs...?" He made the International Food Mooching gesture. "And you are?"

"They are and man, help yourself. Plenty there. I'm Johnny Storm, the Human Torch." Bwahaha.

"Thanks!" Roughly half of a sub disappeared. When he could finally speak, he did. "Jack Burton, the human--what? The human torch?" Was this the guy from the radio or something?

Oh yeah, he was the guy from the radio or something. "Torch. I'm totally hot," Johnny said with an easy smirk.

Huh. Maybe he's heard of the Jack Burton. "Jack. It's all in the reflexes," he tossed out.

He raised a brow. "Yeah? What's all in the reflexes?"

"I," Ino informed him from the entrance to the common room, "am bored."

This was terribly 'clever' Ino-speak for 'entertain me now, seriously'.

He smirked. "I could unbore you quite easily."

"Oh?" Ino asked archly, wandering over to the counters to see if there was something either chocolate or sugar related for her to snack on. "Really now?"

"Meatball subs; help yourself. And yes, totally," he said confidently.

That got a bit of a face at him. "A meatball sub contains neither of my food goals right now," she said, peeking in the cupboards. "Unless you've got sugar or chocolate in them, and then I've totally got to ask what were you thinking?"

A beat.

"And, you know, ew. Because chocolate and sugar do not belong in a meatball sub." Ewwwww.

He shrugged. "I don't eat much chocolate, nor sugar for that matter."

A beat.

"Unless the chocolate has been smeared all over one's body," he added with an impish grin.

Ino eyed the box of cookies she'd grabbed from the cupboard for a moment, then glanced over her shoulder at him. "...isn't that just a waste of perfectly good chocolate?"
