Johnny was chillaxin on the sofa, ESPN was on the TV, and he was working his way through a meatball sub. There were extra on the counter if anyone wanted to help themselves. He didn't make them so they were excellent.

There wasn't a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon as far as he was concerned.

That got a laugh.

"Oh, come on, as if," she said, giggling. "I hate to feed your ego, but seriously. That's totally not an issue."

He smiled wide. "Cool. Because you know..." his eyes skimmed over her. "You're freaking hot Ino, and Savannah thinks so as well."

She preened a bit. Yeah, Ino wasn't going to turn away compliments. Ever.

"I should hope so," she teased. "Considering what you just asked."

Johnny just smiled. "So you'll think about it?"

[intraspective]

"I'll think about it," she promised. "And, uh... probably for the positive, yeah, but right now no promises. I'm going to want to talk, you know, to Savannah first."

"Of course, I encourage that whole-heartedly," he commented easily. "She agrees with me, you should know, even mentioned that my flirting was okay."

"I believe you," Ino assured him. "Or you'd be a dead, dead man, I'm thinking. But still, you know, talking is a good thing."

"I think it is too, get her take on it from her. I understand the necessity behind that."

God. He could barely contain his excitement right now.

"Uh, there's no one out there that would want to try and kick my ass for this, is there?"

Ino thought about that.

"Um. Maybe?" she said, severely unsure about that. "I mean, I wouldn't think so, since we're not doing anything formal and it's more of a friends-with-benefits-sometimes kinda thing, you know?"

A shrug. "He didn't say anything when I slept with someone else though? So I'm guessing, really, that he wouldn't care 'bout this."

Thing with Johnny? Along with his ego he was very much with the confidence in kicking ass. He wasn't worried; he just wanted to know.

"This he have a name?"

"Michael," she admitted, almost sheepishly.

That shot his brows up. "Isabel's brother?"

[intraspective]

"Yeah, that Michael," she said, stealing a few more cookies then shoving the box back in the cupboard. "Is that going to be a problem?"

Well, technically no. Isabel shouldn't kick his ass over screwing around with Ino, given the fact that she and Michael weren't a couple.

Um.

"Not at all."

"Excellent," Ino beamed.

They were totally not a couple. Really.

Honest.

"So what else have you been up to lately, besides asking 'round for interested people?"

Johnny couldn't wait to tell Savannah.

"Not much actually. Classes, work; takes up my time." He had two classes. One Thursday and one Friday. Johnny could be a little lazy at times.

"What about you?"

"I've got something going on every day but Saturday," Ino admitted. "I like it that way. Keeps me busy."

"You and Savannah would get along great. You spend much time with her?"

"Not that much," Ino admitted. "We don't seem to cross paths that often, but I'll make a note of it to look her up more."

"Cool. Be kind of nice since we're all going to hook up," 'cause he totally believed they would, "to know each other better. Of course I already know you've got a great mouth."

Ino grinned confidently. "I'm great at more than just my mouth, you know."

That caused him to laugh. "Don't make me want you now. My girlfriend might not like it if we start without her."

She stuck her tongue out at him. "And what if we started without you?"
