Fourth Floor Common Room, Afternoon

Anyone who came into the fourth floor common room would be greeted by the site of a chimp, sitting on the couch and watching TV. He wasn't just watching it though, he also had a bowl of popcorn for throwing at the TV when it got too stupid, and a remote for changing the channel when he got bored.

The chimp was actually have some trouble staying on one channel and seemed to be changing them every few minutes.

Tony's dorm exploration got him to the fourth floor common room, but he froze when he saw the chimp. He tried to remember what he knew of chimps. Were they dangerous? Well, this one appeared to be domesticated and it was likely someone's pet. He took a step closer. "Hello," he said to it, cautiously.

"Ooooh oooh oooh!" Marco the chimp said excitedly.

Tony wasn't sure if that was chimp for "glad to see you" or "I'm going to bit your nose off." He eased forward slowly and took a seat on the opposite end of the couch. "Good boy," he said in a low, hopefully soothing voice. "Or girl. Good chimp."

Marco nodded at the first statement, though it was a bit hard to tell. "Oooh oooh oooh!" He switched the channel, yet again.

Tony got a slight smile. "You were on the bus here, right? Is it just me, or should the guy in the robes have given us way more warnings?"

"I don't know if it would've helped," Tony said, smiling back. "Would you have believed him?"

Claire considered it. "Probably not," she admitted. "Though it would have saved my big sister some time trying to get me to stop freaking out."

"I'm Claire, by the way."

Joan was still pretty annoyed about her wake up call and decided to go exploring.

She wandered past the fourth floor common room, poking her head in to see if there was anyone she knew.

And she boggled when she saw the chimp.

"Oooh oooh oooh!" The chimp greeted her with a wave.

"Um... are you a student?" Joan asked.

See, she was trying that whole open mind thing.

"Oooh oooh oooh!" Marco informed her, neither agreeing or disagree, but still being excited. Everyone makes their fun their own way.

Tony waved. "I see you survived the first day."

Joan smiled. "Yeah... and I think my sanity is intact, but I'm not a hundred percent sure."

Claire waved slightly at Joan. "Hi, you're another new person, right?"

"Yeah, I'm Joan. I think I saw you yesterday," Joan replied.

Liir was heading up to the roof for a bit when he noticed the chimp in the common room. Again.

"...so you're back then for classes it is?"

"Ooooh oooh!" Marco agreed.

"You're going to pick up that popcorn, aren't you?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You know him? Her?" Joan asked.

He turned to the girl who'd spoken.

"I've seen him before, here," he explained. "I never learned his name, but he's not proven himself to be a Chimp, so that's no surprise."

Tony waved at Liir.

Liir smiled to see Tony and shoved the broom back to his side as he walked over.

"I hope you're well as I haven't seen you for so long," he said with a grin.

Claire was mostly unpacked, and had gone exploring the dorm.

She did not expect to see a chimpanzee in the first common room she came to after her own. "So did somebody's pet get out?" she wondered aloud.

"Oooh oooh oooh!" Marco informed her and offered her some popcorn.

Claire squinted at the popcorn. "Is that hygienic?"

Asked the girl who once stole a corpse's foot.
