5th Floor Common Room, Tuesday evening

With Liir's help, the common room was transformed into a vivid party room. Purple streamers were hung, balloons in every color were tied around, some left loose to pop or kick like some people liked to do (not her, geeze), and HAPPY BIRTHDAY INO! was everywhere.

Music was going and Amber was adding finishing touches to the gift table; little shiny curly things in purple everywhere. Hopefully Ino liked purple. While she was doing that, Liir was busy in the kitchen, getting the food in order and her mouth was watering just smelling some of what he had cooked.

Yay, party!

"October 23rd," he said. "When's yours?"

"Oh, soon-ish!" Angela grinned, "And mines the 10th."

She thought about having some of her piece of cake, and paused only to add, "Also October." Just in case that hadn't been an obvious conclusion to him.

"How old are you gonna be?" Hannibal asked. "Old and ancient? Thirty?"

Angela smirked at his teasing, "Seventeen. Which is only old and ancient if you're a cat, as far as I know."

"I'll have to throw you a party," Hannibal mused. "With lots of balloons and food and guys with their shirts off."

"You know me so well," Angela said, happily sporting a broad grin.

"I would offer to get shirtless girls for yours, but people seem to think that's tacky." Also she didn't think she knew any girls who would willingly get semi-naked in public.

"I don't think it's tacky but I'm easy," he said and grinned. "But don't worry about that. Cake and ice cream and lots and lots of food? That's all I need. Oh, and a party hat."

That little smirk, wasn't in any way her considering making a joke about being easy... Okay, maybe a little, but he might not notice.

"Party hats, food, easy." Angela nodded. "Got it."

"You could pop out of a cake and make it the best birthday ever," Hannibal teased.

Angela snickered, picking at the piece of cake she was already holding.

"I'll take that idea into consideration," she replied. "... But, you know, you still owe me grass skirt modelling, so it might take some extra sweetening to get anything like that."

"Hey, hey, I keep my word," he promised. "You still owe me too. You could that on my birthday and it'd be like a present."

"That, I can do," Angela agreed after a moment of thought.

"And I do believe in your trustworthiness," she assured him. "I was just... subtly reminding."

"I'll do it," he said and smiled. "You have my word."

Angela grinned smugly. "Of course you'll do it," she teased. "I'm just that persuasive."
