5th Floor Common Room, Tuesday evening

With Liir's help, the common room was transformed into a vivid party room. Purple streamers were hung, balloons in every color were tied around, some left loose to pop or kick like some people liked to do (not her, geeze), and HAPPY BIRTHDAY INO! was everywhere.

Music was going and Amber was adding finishing touches to the gift table; little shiny curly things in purple everywhere. Hopefully Ino liked purple. While she was doing that, Liir was busy in the kitchen, getting the food in order and her mouth was watering just smelling some of what he had cooked.

Yay, party!

"Yeah, this place was a bit of a shock," Tony smiled. "You settling in okay?"

"So far? I mean, last weekend was kind of...you know? What about you?"

"That was pretty wacky," Tony agreed. "Other than that, this is a pretty cool place. Good people."

"Yeah, I can't get over how nice people are," she said enthusiastically.

Tony nodded. "It's nice to be around other people who are used to weirdness."

"You too? What kind of weirdness?" Was there anyone here who was from a normal place? Not that she'd ever really considered her own place as less than normal.

"Uh, well, this summer I helped a wizard from another dimension stop a Shadowlord from invading," Tony said.

"Cool!" She grinned at him. "What's a Shadowlord, and how'd you stop him?"

"Basically an evil wizard," Tony said. "He had these shadow-creatures for minions."

"What'd the minions do to other people?" In the movies, the minions were always doing things to other people.

"They could possess people," Tony said. "Take over their bodies."

Tony nodded. "Yeah. The Shadowlord's gone." Hopefully for good.

"The other wizard called up this Light thing which kinda ate him," Tony said.

Molly smiled. "Wizards do that. Were you scared?"
