School grounds [early afternoon]

A slightly gremlin-bit Anakin Skywalker, dressed in a way-too-tight jumpsuit, strode out onto the school lawn.

He stroked his--sadly, invisible--mustache and called out, "Cher? Honey? We're going to be late!"

This was going to be so very bad.

Wow, who knew Ronon had a falsetto? This next verse came with a little extra hair-swishing.

And Sonny gave Cher googly eyes before launching back into the chorus. Fear.

Oh the googly eyes. One of the many reasons she tried to look the opposite direction of him while singing and clapping awkwardly not quite with the beat.

"I got you to hold my hand!" he sang, holding her hand up.

Ah, literal interpretation of lyrics. How nauseating.

"I got you to understa-a-and!" She belted it, grinning down at him, despite Anakin's height.

"I got you to walk with me," he continued, trying to bump his hip up against hers.

"I got you to talk with me!" She clapped her hands over her head and swung her hips for a hip bump that would have been lovely if Ronon wasn't 6'4" and built like an ox.

Oops.

Yeah, that was going to leave a mark.

Sonny made a note to talk to Cher about laying off the Cheetos and continued with, "I got you to kiss goodnight!"

Now there was a mental image...

Cher was glad he didn't try to kiss her onstage. He always screwed up her makeup. "I got you to hold me ti-ight!"

"I got you, I won't let go," he yowled happily, swaying in kind of rhythm with the imaginary beat.

Her clapping was erratic at best at this point in her false chipper singing.

"I got you to love me so-o!"

And it was time for the final refrain. Sonny was grinning like an idiot as he tried to hold the big notes at the end.

"....aaaaaaabe!" It always was sad that Cher could hit those low notes better than Sonny. This didn't seem to be any different. She deigned to let Sonny have her hand so they could do a big bow together for the fans at the end.

Cher shook her hair out, and fixed it back behind her shoulders again. "Were you a little flat just then?"

"Have you been eating the West Coast out of Ho-Hos?" he countered.

"You did not just call me fat, Bono," Cher chastised, putting her hands on her hips.

"You about knocked me over with that hip bump," he replied sulkily.

Cher sighed, "I know." She was sighing more because it hadn't worked.
