Cheerleading Try-Outs -- After Classes, Tuesday, The Gym

Savannah got to the gym after classes to set things up for try-outs. She had mats and tables pulled out, with refreshments available for both the current cheerleaders and those trying out.

There was a table arranged with clipboards for the squad members to write notes as they watched the hopefuls try-out. There was also a portable stereo for those routines that were choreographed to music.

It was time for try-outs for the Fandom High Gremlins!

Johnny laughed. "Ow. And of course; I love it when you abuse my poor helpless body."

She laughed and shook her head, then lowered her voice. "Well, you do know how I get after try-outs..."

"Needy?" he tried, his look wicked.

"Is he here?" he made a point of looking around again. "Am I going to have to pound some flesh?"

She stared at him and then started to almost choke on her giggles.

"I love you."

Laughing at her giggles, he squeezed her. "I love you, too."

She leaned up to kiss him.

He kissed her back, probably longer and harder than he should have, all things considered.
