Third Floor Common Room - Monday Morning - 10/13
Liir could not stay in his room this morning.
Liir... had to do something normal, something mundane, something hot and greasy and familiar, and that was why he was in the common room kitchen doing a massive fry up for anyone who thought it worth the effort to creep out of their room.
Anyone who started conversations with anything other than 'this weekend' also got a brownie.
[open and free food for all!][...and considering this weekend, his icon (and where it comes from) is FAR TOO AMUSING FOR WORDS right now]

"And I was a complete jackanaps."
He paused before explaining: "asshole. I treated someone like a maid, was positively lecherous..."
He shuddered.
"And I still have to apologize to Penelope over everything."

"She's my roommate. You took her to Homecoming, right? What happened that you owe her an apology?"
no subject
"Yes, I took her to the dance. We actually had a very good time.
"And I, well, I made an unnecessary comment about her nose. And I... it wasn't even anything I really did but I was a complete..."
He grunted in irritation.
"A git. An all around git and she deserves an apology for dealing with me at all this weekend."
He looked sideways at Claire.
"Er, nice to meet you. Sorry about my manners."

She shook her head. "I stole your toast. We're cool."
no subject
"You're welcome to another brownie if you'd like."
It was his way of saying thank you.
"And it's not stealing if I offer it. You're welcome to some of any of the rest of it as well."

Claire Fisher, mistress of the obvious.

He took a bite of toast.
"But generally yes. Today is a rare occasion where I also feel like eating."
no subject
"I kind of always feel like eating," she offered instead. "So ... I guess I'll learn to find you?"
no subject
He pointed down the hall.
"316," he told her, "Any time you're hungry. I'll either make something or hand you some manner of baked goods if you'd like to come by. There's also tea and perhaps even company. I've got the room to myself still."
And he kind of likes it that way.
