Cheerleading Exhibition; The Gym; Saturday Afternoon [ 10/25 ]

It was time for the cheerleaders to go about and do their thing in showing all the family and friends of the student body their school spirit! The gym, of course, was decorated in blue and gold, with a giant, sparkly "GO GREMLINS" banner, and there was up-tempo, bass-thumping music spilling out of the speakers as the cheerleaders got read and the audience filed in.

"For Pama's sake," she muttered, "I better not turn into an animal while I'm here..."

"It normally only happens if you stay a while," Teddy said, laughing.

She nodded, smiled, and let it lapse into a silence for a little bit while she watched.

"Well," Phyla said, finally, "They're limber."

"The throwing...?" Okay, that sounded a little concerning. Phyla wasn't quite giving him an alarmed look, but she didn't look particularly convinced.

"Wait for it. Chad's usually the thrower," Teddy replied.

"Right..." Phyla said. That skeptical look just wasn't gonna go.

"He's good at that," Teddy insisted. "Pretty strong for, you know, a normal person."

That just brought another question to the forefront. "Is he human?"

That... probably hadn't needed to come out that confused. Phyla shook her head.

"Then he does pretty well," she offered, reaching to bump shoulders with him again. It seemed like a thing.
