3rd Floor CR, Monday Morning

The first weird thing was that Claire woke up early during her week off.

The second weird thing was that she didn't just want to hang out in her room all day. So she took her sketchbook and a set of pastels and went to the common room to curl up on a couch and draw ... she wasn't sure yet. It might just be her coffee mug. Maybe her coffee mug in spaaaaaaace.

The TV was on and tuned to some soap opera, but Claire wasn't paying enough attention to say what it was about.

[OOC: Open like a CR.]

"I'm a teleportation magician," she said easily. "I'm not bad at it, if I may be so immodest. I mostly handle moving supplies, and people if the occasion calls for it, around where I'm ordered to put them."

...this was an understatement, but well, Viki wasn't aware of how much of one it was.

"I suppose," she said, leaning back and having another spoonful of her cereal. "I don't remember not being able to do it, so that makes it a little less surprising for me."

Viki blinked over at Claire.

"It would," she said carefully, with a tilt of her head. "Are you alright?"

Viki shrugged, easily enough swayed from one topic. "I do not make plans particularly. Chances are, if I do, something will happen wrongly, or I will forget, and so it is better to just end up where ever I end up."

"Zen?" Viki blinked, confused.

Viki considered that, with more cereal. "I think," she said eventually, "that mine comes about from being used to not exactly having much warning when my world will change entirely. There is no point in getting fussed when it happens so frequently."
